  1. Bit of a shame we lost Grealish really. It would have been nice to have Jack and Danny in the team!
  2. If he's fit enough he's good enough, we all know that. The only reason he didn't stay at Manyoo is because they played Rashford left side attack and Shaw at left back. Funny how after he left us we pretty much replaced him with Jack. Jack leaves and now Ash might be getting that spot in the team back. He would also be a better threat from free kicks and would take better corners too.
  3. I think I mentioned Jonathan David last summer. He'd be a great signing for us.
  4. Kuwa, with a name like yours I feel compelled to ask the question; how good is Daichi Kamada? And, would we be able to fit him into our team? Arigato
  5. I like Dougie but, as a player, I think his form went backwards last season. Maybe it's the position he's playing in, I think he played further forward at Girona? I'm sure he gave more than one penalty away last season and makes crazy decisions at times. He was the main one being left out at times and when replaced by Nakamba Marvellous lived up to his name. Dougie himself apologised on Twitter more than once for his performance in games and admitted he needed to be better with the ball. Not sure I'd get rid but I think we need better than he's given us in that position.
  6. I think we should use the £100m from the sale of our former Captain to Oil City to rebuild the North Stand that his Kiera Knightly lookalike image used to adorn and then rename it as the "My Home, My City, My Club" Stand.
  7. I personally think that, unless we sign another forward type, we will normally go into games with the same set up as last season with Watkins playing wide left, Buendia behind the striker, Bailey wide right and Ings up front.
  8. I think it has a difficulty of 5.8 on the beam.
  9. I think we're two players away from an awesome looking 3-4-3 formation. -----------------------Martinez--------------------- --------Konsa--------Mings--------?------------- Cash-----------?-----------McGinn------Young Bailey-------------Watkins------------Buendia
  10. TRO, like myself, has been calling for some height in that DM role for quite some time now. For me, that would be the final ingredient. We need a combative unit to compliment the energy of John McGinn.
  11. It would be very interesting to hear Dean's views on Grealish leaving. Like others, I think he may well be relieved too. No more golden boy taking all the plaudits. Dean seems a more grounded person too so I wouldn't be surprised if all the showman stuff with Grealish got to Dean. Reminds me of when my uncle, who for years has moaned about Jack slowing our play down too often and allowing teams time to get back into position. I would imagine that would do a manager's head in. If we look at what Grealish has done, does anyone think Dean would leave us like that if England came calling or one of the so-called big 6? Personally, I don't think so.
  12. Louie, when you look at your peers for inspiration and find someone to follow in terms of example set, please do not let it be Jack Grealish. Let it be Lionel Messi or Totti.
  13. He hasn't got the digital membership mate. But, I'll try setting that up for him. Cheers
  14. Do you think the fee is fair for his talent? Personally, I think Purslow and the management team did all they could for the good of the club. They had to negotiate a deal last summer to keep him, at a time when we narrowly escaped relegation. Grealish and his agent would have to agree the release clause so I doubt they'd have gone any higher. That is probably the best we could get to in that deal. Ultimately, the player has had his head turned. If he seriously thought we'd go from relegation candidates to Champions League in one season he must be Dumber than originally thought. He got a wage increase out of us for last season. A season where is stock rose but he missed a fair chunk. Was he as injured as we were made to believe or did he have sights already set further afield? Did his head get turned during the days with the players from both camps whose teams were in the Champions League final? Probably! I'm so impressed by Christian Purslow and the management team for how this has been handled. They've been utterly professional about it. We are so well run now and as much as Grealish leaving is a kick in the teeth, the manner in which the club has handled it will have impressed many more players than we have lost. I still believe in the plan but, my concern is how long will the owners believe in it? Are they in it for the long haul? It's going to be very hard to break the "big 6" cartel monopoly of our game that, if yesterday's actions are anything to go by, also includes people at the top of the English game and the national set-up. Maybe the European Super League and those elite few leaving is the answer to all genuine English football fans getting their game back?
  15. I tried that mate. You need the fan ID plus either the postcode or surname to add them. I need the fan ID part.
  16. I want to buy a ticket for my Dad for the Sevilla game but he does t k ow his fan ID. I've tried calling the club multiple times but left on hold for ages without speaking to anyone. Anyone know how else I can find out please?
  17. I agree with tiy mate, I just cannot see them getting one.
  18. I forgot Sanson for the bench too. Makes it even harder to fit another midfielder into the squad. For me, a keeper and Tuanzebe then we are done. I wouldn't mind more but just cannot see it.
  19. No offence but, where would he play? That front four is going to be Watkins, Buendia, Bailey and Ings. Luiz and McGinn will be behind again. Back five will be same as last season. The bench will be new keeper, Tuanzebe, Young, Chukuemeka, El Ghazi, Traore, Wesley.
  20. So we can fit four more players in then? Have I missed any out guys? My brain is frazzled after the last two days. Can't see Trezeguet getting included. Maybe Davis?
  21. I don't know why but I too also felt, after listening to Purslow earlier, that we may have finished our dealing at the top end of the pitch. I think that we will probably now buy or loan in a keeper and secure the loan of Tuanzebe, plus maybe see the odd player leave, like Hourihane and a younger player or two out on loan. Might start the season with a 25 man squad of: Martinez, new keeper, Steer, Guilbert, Cash, Konsa, Mings, Hause, Tuanzebe, Targett, Young, McGinn, Nakamba, Luiz, Chukuemeka, J Ramsey, A Ramsey, Philogene-Bidace, El Ghazi, Traore, Bailey, Buendia, Ings, Watkins, Wesley. Purslow mentioned our incredible youngsters and there are only four of them in that 25 man squad. Unless I've got it wrong and we're allowed a bigger squad than 25 I think that'll pretty much be it.
  22. You've often said in the past that Dean Smith was nothing without Grealish (or something along those lines) so how do you feel about him now? Do you think he'll cope without him? Do you have sympathy for him?
  23. That Whispers fella over on Twitter earlier posted this.. bid accepted for mid. awaiting resolution before any jw prowse continuations. axel Maybe we've heard about Barca's plight, made Lionel an offer he cannot refuse and, he's agreed to join up with new best buddy Emi Martinez at Villa Park? A two year stint in the Premier League with the team that gave Barcelona their colours
