Hate saying it but there's only one team looking like they're going to win this and that's Leeds. I cannot see us creating anything without Buendia and Coutinho on the pitch.

Why did we loan out Kesler-Hayden? No real back-up at right back or left back. Without Coutinho and Buendia what on earth are we going to offer? Hopefully, they will both be OK.

I love Emi, I really do but, I thought that maybe he could've done better with all three goals. The first wasn't right in the corner, the second maybe he could have jumped to try to punch it? The third, why not come out for it? Having said all that, Mings and Konsa have been appalling all game. Mings definitely at fault for the first although, I think VAR should've looked at Rodrigo being offside. For the second, how does Mings not win that challenge against James? He then clears off the line only to seconds later airshot one straight to their scorer. Bad day at the office for him.

Villa have not played two halves of good football since Gerrard arrived. It's similar to a lot of the time Smith was here.

Trippier is injured? Bailey just needs time. I'd love to see him wide left with Buendia wide right and Coutinho behind the striker. Great forward line!

Look, let's be fair to Calum. First of all, he's not what we expected but, what did we expect? He's a back-up right centre back who can be utilised at right back if needed. He's got bucket loads of experience too. Yes, he's not set the Premier League alight in the past but, he wasn't playing for Villa then so gives a toss? He's one of ours now so please let's support him.

My dream tomorrow is for Villa to be drawing with them and have them under the cosh when both Digne and Coutinho come on as subs. Digne makes a run down the left, cuts the ball back to Coutinho for him to curl one into the top right-hand corner from 20 yards out to win it right at the end of added time

So, what do we think the unfair decision will be this time? 1) Incorrect penalty decision in favour of Manure 2) Villa denied a clear-cut penalty 3) Manure player should be sent off but isn't 4) Villa player sent off unjustly 5) Manure score a goal that should be disallowed by VAR 6) Villa have a goal unfairly disallowed by VAR 7) An other.. I am sure it will be something controversial!

He clearly is happy to be here and knows he has to work hard. All looks good so far and should the next 5 months go well I think he'll join in the summer.

There is no obligation to get out of the way of someone if you're standing still. If Ramsey moved across or towards him you could understand it but he simply stood still and Cavani ran into him. Cheating cnut of a ref must be getting a big brown envelope after the game.

After that 45 minutes I've changed my mind about letting Targett seeing out the season - he's been shite. He's played like he knows it's his last game or something. Buendia has done a couple of good things but otherwise he's given the ball away more times than a ball boy. We just don't have enough width to allow the full backs to interact with our attacking play. McGinn needs to be more involved. Maybe sub off Ramsey for Sanson maybe and push McGinn further forward.

I can't see us beating Manure tonight, especially after losing at Brentford. If the bad Manure turn up I can see us maybe going down by a solitary controversial goal to them - a Fernandes dive to win Ronaldo a penalty to convert - unless Emi ca psych him out! If Manure turn up in the right frame of mind, I can see us losing by 2 or 3.

Yet, the majority of Everton fans that I've read comments from seem to think he's been crap for the last 18 months and he's on monster wages. If true, I'd rather us have made do with Targett for now and seal the deal for Hickey in the summer.
