  1. I know he did but, it wasn't clear for the ref to give it straight away. My point is, if it happened exactly the opposite way, the ref would not have changed his mind and probably would have booked the Villa players for questioning the decision. It was Hutton's fault for making the foul but, I don't think it would have been given the opposite way around.
  2. If that was Bellerin tugging at Ayew we would not have been awarded a pen and both Gestede and Ayew would have been booked for pleading with the ref.
  3. Look at the positives dude, it will be easier to get a ticket!
  4. I agree with you KHV. I said at the time I wasn't convinced he was right for us but would support him regardless. But, he's here now and we really might as well just get behind the guy and try to help him to help us because, there's not going to be too many quality managers wanting this job with the clowns at the top in charge.
  5. I have defended him in the past but his is a position that needs filling by someone else. Mulumbu anybody?
  6. We need to back this guy and give him chance. Mourinho has one of the best squads of players in the country, possibly Europe, and he is languishing a few places above us, despite how utterly shit we have been. People have kept saying all season that Mourinho and Chelsea would turn it around. When did it happen? It hasn't yet! Who would have thought it would take more than 15 games for that to happen, if it happens? Garde is the man here now and he will be the man in charge when we go down. It's not his fault. The owner has an agenda and his generals have royally messed things up by changing too much, too soon and on a shoestring budget. That's not saying that these guys won't come good. I believe the younger lot may come good eventually. But, in the short term, they are caught in the headlights and their confidence is trashed. We need to face up to what is happening and just let nature take its course without losing the plot too much - the only person who deserves to face the backlash of our plight is the owner, you know, that man who no longer wants us. We have to then trust that Garde can turn it around in the summer. We have to hope that the (lack of) brains trust at the top learn their lessons and allow Garde the chance to bring in players that he wishes to work with. Allow a football manager to manage footballers that he wants - imagine that! I feel sorry for Garde. I feel sorry for anyone who has to come in and work with Lerner and his minions. I know Garde will be well paid and people will say he knew what to expect. I bet that he really didn't expect it to be this difficult and can't personally believe what he is experiencing here with us. It's no good giving up on him after a few games. He needs to get through this season and re-evaluate. Right now, I would rather trust him to try to bring us back up next season than take a risk on yet another manager who may drop us further down the leagues.
  7. Garde should get tough and move Richards to right back and play Clark alongside Okore, which had the signs of a decent partnership last season. I know Richards doesn't want to play right back but he's Captain and should lead by example and be willing to play anywhere if it's for the good of the team. The other position to fill is defensive midfield. Sanchez cost us against Southampton and played a part in Arsenal's second yesterday. I'd persevere with Gana but Sanchez needs to be dropped.
  8. Time to unleash a forward line of Traore, Agbonlahor and Ayew. Pure pace that should stretch defences. It can't be worse than today's forward line where only Ayew got any credit.
  9. I feel NO pity for this waste of space. He's a billionaire so who cares if he loses 100 or so mill on us? He'll be safe in the knowledge that he's got another 900+ million to heel the wounds whilst us fans are spending our hard earned wages to watch piles of shite play against the likes of Rotherham and MK Dons on a Friday night.
  10. It makes me laugh when people say we will lose our best players. These lot are shocking and won't be missed, bar maybe a couple of them. We need to stick by Garde but allow him to build his own team and stamp his own style of football on us.
  11. From that performance today there are only two starters I would keep and that's Okore and Ayew. Those two guys both care and try. The rest could leave with my blessing. Also, what's up with Richards? Our last Captain used to disappear at Christmas. Please don't tell me this one is too!
  12. I thought he was crap first half. He kept running into areas where he could easily be marked, rather than free himself and make himself available for the ball. He also had a poor role in the second goal, just as the other two midfielders did.
  13. Is it a coincidence that our last two managers were unemployed when taken on by us? The ownership will be the reason we go down because the blame has to fall at his feet because of his total lack of judgement, interest, knowledge, know-how, care and, most of all, respect. Randolph Lerner is the answer when you all ask yourselves the question "How did we get relegated?".
  14. Fox will get his wish next season. When we play away at Cardiff it'll be his only chance of seeing this shite play in another European country.
  15. Veretout wonders around finding someone to mark him. He needs to want the ball more and find space to receive it.
  16. It was risky from Hutton so he's to blame for shit defending but, you can always rely on Kevin Unfriendly to give a dodgy decision against Aston Villa. I called it in the pre-match thread. Tell you something, he wouldn't have given it to us, the bent fukpig!
  17. We look "busy". Hope they can do it for 90+ minutes.
  18. Gestede is going to make Mertesacker look like the best defender that ever played, today. My earlier prediction of 0-4 has to be changed after seeing the teams. 0-6 Giroud x2, Walcott x2, Ramsey & Ozil x1 each. PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG VILLA!!!!
  19. A m ole I understand your logic and I would also usually see a team go for it but, with this group being so low in confidence right now, I feel a 4,5 or 6 goal tanking is the last thing they need and would be the final nail in the coffin for them. But, if they could keep it tight and, if they did lose it was close in terms of scoreline, maybe it would not be damaging for them. Maybe they could even scrape a draw.
  20. I think we're so bad that, if we were to to win, I'd question the legitimacy of it.
  21. I wonder how those who think we should just go for it today, because it's a "free hit", will feel if we do so and get hammered by 5 or 6? Are there any fans feeling that we should try and keep it as tight as possible to protect the GD as much as possible? I think we'll lose no matter what so damage limitation should be order of the day.
  22. Bournemouth have long-standing values and a way of playing that's just continued into the PL. We have no footballing identity and that's the difference between us. Maybe Garde can start that work and continue it throughout the Championship next season so that we have a good chance of coming back up and staying there.
  23. There's no way can anyone at any point say it's because we brought in too many players in the summer. Watford bought more and are currently on the fringe of the top four! So, what's the difference between us? Are their signings better? Is it the manager? Is it momentum from being promoted last season? Whatever it is, someone on the Villa payroll needs to suss it out and get us some.
  24. Kevin Friend reffed a game between us and Chelsea once and literally did all he could to help them win. In fact, he might just as well have worn their shirt! I guarantee he will give at least one dodgy decision in Arsenal's favour tomorrow that will prove costly for us. I reckon we'll lose 0-4 with Ozil, Walcott and Ramsey scoring the goals.
