  1. Maybe he'll start to put a tackle in now that he's got his first ever scar!
  2. I think he does know his team but McCormack and Tshibola are injured.
  3. All these injuries makes me wonder about our training regime
  4. The poor Moss family! Had a slight misunderstanding at the births registry office: Registrar: "Baby's name? Proud, smiling parents "He's a Moss" Birth certificate drops through the letterbox reading: Name - Amos Moss
  5. I just realised that one injury to a centre back, let's say (please don't happen) Elphick, and we could end up with a defence of Cissokho, Baker, Chester, Hutton. That's a frightening thought.
  6. Wasn't De Laet off the pitch the other night when Brentford got their leveller? Cross from our right back position? We will see more of that with Hutton and Bacuna playing at right back. What is it with us and defenders? Bouma crippled, Laursen done for, then Okore, Amavi, De Laet. When will our bad luck end?
  7. I agree with your comments about the midfield and for me personally that's where RDM has failed so far. Westwood and Gardner will only ever work when one of them is on the pitch alongside a decent holding midfielder who can tackle. I'd prefer neither of them here to be honest as I would rather have two holding midfielders, who can play a little, in front of the back four. Tshibola was a big risk and so is Elphick and Chester to a certain extent as I believe they've had their fair share of injuries too last season. If they were to both go missing we would be left with Baker and Richards? We definitely need another decent CB, a DM and maybe a ball-playing midfielder who can also put a foot in - ala Gareth Barry/Joey Barton.
  8. Well, we are the UK's leading software distributor and I look after about £40-50m worth of stock. We stock the likes of World of Warcraft, Destiny, all the different COD's, just released Deus Ex and PES 2017. You name it and we probably have it. I count Fifa 17 every day as it's not released yet obviously and security is tight with guard watching it all the time. We're currently holding around 500k units of PS4 & PS4 with around 550k of Xb1 & X360 stock coming in today. It's a nightmare but pays the wages. Lol. By the way, I'm employed by Activision Blizzard and the only real perk is a free copy of the new COD every year. I usually do get a free Fifa off EA too but sell them as I have no interest in playing the damn things lol.
  9. I hate this game! I work in a warehouse that distributes computer software and this kicks off (pardon the pun) the busiest time of the year for me. Got 250 pallets of this shit coming in tomorrow
  10. We really don't know the answer to that question because we got relegated. Given the full season, Sherwood might have turned it around and kept us up. Let's face it, it could hardly have been much worse than it ended up.
  11. No offence mate but didn't he do this on Sunday against Forest? We went a goal down so he took off a central midfielder and threw on a Striker, meaning we had three out-and-out strikers on the pitch with two wide attackers. Then, after the game, a lot of people criticised RDM for not replacing a forward with Jedinak and shutting up shop as soon as we took a 2-1 lead. I like the fact we start with four attack-minded players and it should work as that kind of formation - whereby a team plays 4-3-3 with two holding CM's behind a diamond-shaped front four - is quite common in modern football. The biggest problem on Sunday was that we lacked a real defensive-minded midfielder to sit in front of the back four. Against Brentford we had lost our balance in that Grealish was out and had to have a striker played out wide (albeit he scored from playing out wide) as a consequence, which coincided with losing another of our strikers who had to be replaced by a left back playing as the left-sided forward. It became disjointed for sure. Mind you, had De Last not got injured he could possibly have stuck Bacuna out wide right and had Kodjia wide left. But, maybe that's where RDM could take some flak, for not covering all bases in case of injury? Another thing to consider is that we have had quite a bad run with players going missing thus far. Tshibola, Jedinak, Gollini, De Laet, McCormack and Adomah have all taken time out for one reason or another. That's 2/3 of our new signings. Maybe we are just down on our luck a bit and just need to turn the tide?
  12. I don't get this four strikers thing that people keep mentioning. On Sunday, the biggest criticism seemed to be that he should have put Jedinak on to shut up shop, when we had 5 attacking players on the pitch. We dominated that game with a starting front four of Grealish, Ayew, Kodjia & McCormack. Last night we started with a front 4 of Kodjia, Ayew,Gestede & McCormack. Who else could play left side attack in Grealish's absence? Amavi? Not a wide-left attack kind of player, for me. We should have been able to see out that game but drew because of individual errors.
  13. The only way I'd give him the push is if we were say within 6 points of the bottom three and showing no signs of improvement.
  14. Maybe the manager did see it and that's why the players were so deep? Or, maybe they weren't meant to play that way but just drifted back naturally? Look, I totally agree that our points return after 7 games is not satisfying and I also agree that we seem to implode under pressure etc. But, I feel that getting on their backs so soon will simply cause them to hide and start to not want the ball and then we will see pretty much what we saw last season and have a long campaign of struggle. I think we would be better off supporting them through this and try to get them to a point where we are where we should be as a team. It just seems too soon to turn on them, for me personally.
  15. Second half, did he go to a 4-4-2 formation with Amavi left and Ayew right with Kodjia and Gestede down the middle? If not, that seems a bit of a silly thing to not do that with the players at his disposal.
  16. What midfield? He played the best he had. The only difference he could make to that central position is to out Tshibola in for Westwood but that's pretty difficult with the player out injured. That's RDM's biggest mistake so far, not getting enough CM depth in.
  17. After the booing I can see our players withdrawing into their shells like that lot did last season. I know it's been hard viewing for the fans for way too long but a reality check is well and truly needed. This is pretty much a new outfit that hasn't had enough time to gel yet. At the start of the season people were saying we needed big changes and were also saying that it will take time and not going down again was a concern. Well, we won't go down again. We will come good eventually too but it might just not be soon enough to earn us enough points to get promoted. We need to stick with the management and the players because there's still a long way to go until the end of the season and giving up on certain folks now is way too soon.
  18. Noticed Gardner not doing enough to cut out the cross for their equaliser and Chester being wrong side of his man at the back post hence Cissokho having to cover and leave his man who fired in the cross/shot for the goal. We have to defend better as a team for sure.
  19. I didn't realise that draws are also now defeats. Shiiiit we better win 31 of the last 39 games then if we want to make 100 points.
  20. Panic stations is not a good place to be. There's a long way to go and turning on the players and manager already will just make them more and more nervous and the rot will set in so badly that even Mourinho or Guardiola wouldn't be able to turn it around. We've been there and got bitten in the worst possible way (relegation) so we need stability because we WILL NOT be relegated if we all just calm down and stick behind the manager and the players. We will easily be a top half side when all is said and done this season - if we don't give up on them!
  21. Lack of natural width in that team tonight. Let's hope it doesn't stop us creating chances and getting crosses into the box.
  22. Dr Xia cannot unveil that £4.5bn deal until we're back in the Premier League next season - then he can announce the signings of Messi, Ronaldo, Bale, Neymar and Suarez NOTE: £4.5bn includes the wages of their 5 year deals!
