Not a personal experience of mine but one of my best mates had had great responses to being a Villa fan whilst on holiday. He went to Turkey with his family when Alpay was playing for us. He wore his Villa shirt and he, his kids, brother and missus had gone to a bar in a neighbouring town. They played pool and had food/drink etc. The gaffer noticed the Villa shirt and couldn't do enough for them and started giving free beers and let them play pool for free etc. He then went to Bulgaria when Petrov was playing for us and had a similar experience to the above. I think it goes to show how passionate people abroad are about their national players. I doubt you'd get the same here if it was the other way around.

The foreign doctors I have encountered have been poor quality. I didn't say anywhere that all foreign doctors are no good, did I? How does the above make me look racist? I'm talking from personal experience that foreign doctors have failed me and my family so of course I would prefer to see a British doctor although, they are not all great either. And, by the way, when I say British I mean born and educated in Britain that are of all religions and colours. If you think my words portray me as a racist then that's your opinion. Those who know me and work with me etc know I'm not and, like I said earlier, share the same beliefs as me that the country has become over-populated for the infrastructure at hand. I cannot prove that foreign doctors working in Britain are of lesser quality than British doctors. Just as you cannot prove that they are higher quality. But, a close friend of mine has a partner who has worked as a nurse for around 15 years and she says that the standard of training that she and her British-trained colleagues have is superior to those coming in from abroad. She also claims that communication is a problem too and that the same applies to the doctors. In her opinion, they are of lesser quality. I didn't ask my friend "what does your missus think of foreign staff in the health service". I asked him "what does your missus think of the state of the NHS". There were many problems mentioned and the above was one of them.

Hatred of foreigners yet my foreign pals agree with me? OK, if that's what you think. I'm no racist. I just want the country to be ready for the millions that are coming here.

The government screwed the free movement agreement up badly by not making sure that we had enough infrastructure to cope with the extra millions of people coming here. I voted out of Europe based on the fact that I am sick of not being able to get my son an appointment to see a doctor for a few days when he's unwell, then, having been told to go to A&E, having to sit up there for half a day just to get seen by some foreign doctor - who probably did a third of the training that ours do in order to qualify for that job - that my son is fine and to just give him Calpol. There's no places in local schools so kids have to go outside of their area. Nurseries are also difficult to get in to. It's just messed up because we haven't built enough in preparation for those coming here. The government was/are to blame for that. I have black, Asian and European friends who all agree with me. They too said that Britain should not take many more people until they increase the infrastructure of the country to accommodate accordingly.

I don't get the problem with it. I love the show because it gets you thinking. Surely we're at a stage where the hints are for scarface to help Darryl escape and then Ezekiel and Rick's groups get together to go Negan hunting?

I saw a fella on a show saying that the press/media have been totally one-sided regarding the stuff Trump has said about women. This guy was saying that Trump's businesses have seen more women promoted to management levels in America than any other company. He also said that Trump's businesses had won business awards for the way they treat women fairly in the workplace with regards to how they are paid and working conditions etc. Ask yourself this; how bad has it been - and how bad did the future look with Clinton in charge - for the people of America to vote in Trump? It's OK highlighting all his failings but it just goes to show that to the majority of American people they would rather have someone like that in power than the poor cheated on wife of former president Bill Clinton. The elite powerhouses run America - not the president. Trump has known this, together with most open-minded people, for a very long time. At last, someone has come along who has shown a big middle finger to those elite overseers and given the average person hope that change can happen. Now, personally, I think that the elite won't allow such things to happen and will find a way of getting rid of Trump, probably by way of a car or plane crash or an apparent suicide etc. You say the media failed but, who do you think controls the media? Not Trump, that's for sure! The people he went up against are unlawful beyond care and reason and many people have claimed to have witnessed Clinton do terrible things. The media did fail in their pursuit of trying to ridicule Trump and help Clinton into office. But, they should fail in that instance because she would have been a terrible president, not just for America but for the whole world. I am not saying Trump will be great but, I do think he will be better for everyone than Clinton would have been. They elite will no doubt cause uproar in an attempt to make Trump's voters feel like they made a mistake, just as they are doing over here with regards to Brexit. The people just need to have balls, see through their bullshit and lies and, carry on regardless to show them that they can't always control us and get what they want!

I'll tell you what is racist, from the flip side; Trump won the election because "white, non-college-educated men turned out to vote for him". In fact, it's racist, sexist and discriminative against those who haven't been able to afford a college education.

Well said DDID! Bruce is only really saying what most Villa fans said previously, that a fit and "up for it" Gabby would terrorise defences in this league. Gayle is probably top of the scoring charts right now and two years ago there's no way you'd swap them. I know, I know, two years ago... But, if Gabby can get back to fitness and have his right head on he could definitely make a huge difference to us.

I couldn't give a flying fook how he does his business but, can we PLEASE all unite alongside this man and just support him. He's given us 11 points from 15 and made us unbeaten in 5 games. They are stats we have only dreamt about for the last few years.

I think Elphick may struggle to get his place back with Bruce as manager. Chester has been the better defender of the two so far this season and Bruce will like Baker as he is a player in the same mould as himself - in terms of putting his head in where it hurts for the good of the team. Is it coincidence that we haven't conceded goals so easily since Bruce has been in charge?

When Bruce threw on two strikers - Gabby and Rudy - at the end of the Blues game I thought to myself "Oh no, what's he doing here. We will have no cover for the defence that is already under the cosh". He gave us more of a forward thrust with those subs and it left me thinking "They say attack is the best form of defence and so it seems that Brucey thought that way too". Like I have said previously, I cannot fault what he's done so far. I am sure that we will look better when he gets them fitter, they gain more and more confidence - which not losing will breed - and, when he brings some new faces into the squad in January.

Frustrating to watch him. He's a player that I want to like because he seems genuine and like he cares but, he just isn't good. There was an occasion yesterday when he had a simple 15-20 yard pass to his right to put McCormack away but, instead, he checked and played it backwards, breaking up the attack with one ridiculous decision.
