  1. Bruce waited way too long to make the changes. Kodjia should've been on for Grabban on 60. Around 70 he should have replaced Jedinak with Bjarnason and we wouldn't have this problem now. He bottled this!
  2. Kodjia should've been on ages ago. What the **** is going on? Onomah for Jedinak? Why not Bjarnason?
  3. Just said the same here. We need more movement in that area not someone who just stands and heads things away. It's risky but needed. They need more athletes on the pitch.
  4. We need Kodjia on to offer us an outlet and something different. Why wait?
  5. That's actually very wrong. He spent the whole half complaining to the referee.
  6. Reffing is shocking but we're asking for this by sitting too deep. I understand the concerns of their pace but Adomah's running to left back with Frederick's stuck on the halfway line! Hutton and Adomah fell asleep for the goal but he was definitely Hutton's man. They need to press Cairney and stop him getting on the ball as he's their version of Grealish. We look old and tired. Time for Kodjia to be the hero and get hold of the ball up top as Grabban is a passenger.
  7. My nerves are shredded. Just blow that f+#@%?g whistle and get this shit sorted.
  8. It's a dump mate. Remember having a huge row on a guy who poured my bottled beer into a plastic glass and did it in a way that half of it frothed out all over he counter leaving me with about half a bottle. I argued big time with him and told him I wanted a new one. I threatened to go behind the counter and get myself one so he got his gaffer who then agreed with me and gave me the fresh beer. It's a rip off but an amazing day - if our team wins
  9. I was gonna question that until I saw United and then realised you were right!
  10. It's nice to play a final at Wembley where we will have a really decent chance of winning, without playing one of the Premier League elite. I can't wait to have watched the first 10 minutes of the game. I think that will tell us just how much, if any, the occasion is getting to the young Fulham "stars". If they run a ball out or cross a bad ball etc, then start laying it off rather than taking on people, that'll tell me the stagefright kicked in and that will help us greatly. But, if they just keep running at us and taking us on, it'll be a tough day for our defence. The Fulham manager has already said this week that they need to run at us and use their pace. If they do that I think Fulham will win. But, if there is any sign of nerves from them, I think Villa will win it. I can imagine a scenario where Villa take the lead after 35 minutes then hold tight for the rest of the game with about 40,000 Villa fans chewing the tips of their fingers until the final whistle goes and the biggest piss up in recent history starts
  11. Johnstone has a chance to be signed and play regular first team football in the Premier League. Terry has chance to Captain a club in the Premier League again. Snodgrass has the chance to be signed and play in the Premier League again. Elmohamady, Jedinak, Whelan, Chester, Grabban and Adomah all have a chance at the Premier League again, as does Grealish. We have a lot of incentives to go up and that's why I think we'll do it!
  12. Shit of the railways to work on the line between Brum and Coventry on the day of the game, meaning Vila fans have to get the train from Cov!
  13. He was a lucky boy not to have a broken leg! Yeah, he should have gone for denying the goalscoring opportunity but, after several minutes, George Friend should have gone for nearly snapping him in two. If that challenge was contested between two outfield players elsewhere on the pitch it would have been a straight red.
  14. That's funny! I said to my Dad, before he came onto the pitch, that Kodjia will score the goal that sends Villa up. His goals kept us up last season - his goal will send us up this season! Mitrovic is my biggest concern. Jedi will destroy and eat Cairney. Whoever plays right back will own Sessegnon. Fredericks will run into Hutton and break himself. Mitrovic is the only one of their players that frightens me. He's big, ugly, aggressive and puts himself about. Terry has to own him from the first minute to nullify him holding up the ball and bringing others into play. If Terry does that, he's a Premier League Captain again.
  15. It was game management at the end at Boro but that's where it should have stayed. We've pretty much spent most of that first half doing what we did in the second half of the first leg. It only takes a goal from them and we are staring defeat in the face. They're showing great experience but that experience also carries older legs for Villa and that's why I worry that the pace of Fulham will be too much for us, should we get through.
  16. Terrible news about Jlloyd. Always liked him when he played for us and this is a shock and just shows how easy our lives can be taken away. 37 is far too young to leave this world and his poor kids have had their dad taken way too soon in life. RIP Jlloyd and may God bless your family!
  17. Quite an enlightening post, I've never opened myself this way
  18. Grabban running across him cost him a goal at the end of that run.
  19. Particularly annoying considering the bent ref booked Hourihane after one of their moves broke down!
  20. Eyes down, your first number is five and four THE VILLA ROAAAAAR ?
  21. The thing that worries me most about Fulham is the pace at which they break on you. Jedinak, Terry, Chester, Elmo, Hourihane are not the quickest. However, I believe that our quality up front is better than Derby's and would cause them more problems.
  22. People need to remember that the likes of Sessegnon, Targett, Frederick's and Cairney are relatively young. They may well freeze playing in front of around 80,000 at Wembley. We have quite a few players that have been there before so won't be so struck by fear - if they get there!
  23. Can't argue with that. Seeing all bar 6 teams with minus goal difference just shows how much we need the authorities to change the way football operates in this country otherwise our most loved sport is going to die.
  24. The pace he showed on that run he went on was amazing. I just wish the other villa attacker had not cut across him because that made Jack take a bad angle for a shot. If Jack could have cut in on to his right foot he would have scored one of the greatest goals scored in a Villa shirt.
