  1. Scotland's team has been bad since the days of William Wallace!
  2. I don't think it's too much of a coincidence that our better performances have started since Hutton got injured. He got into a lot of great positions going forward but often messed it up with a poor final ball. Also, defensively, he was appalling. Smith's got us winning again. Whether that's because of Grealish in or Hutton out is irrelevant. The key is, we are heading in the right direction and we need to do all we can to keep it going.
  3. Just give Villalad21 a bit more time and I'm sure he'll oblige for you
  4. I thought he played well and looks like a good centre back. Put it this way, watching Hause and Mings at centre back doesn't leave me feeling nervous and 8ts the first time I've said that about our centre back pairing for quite some time.
  5. Mings and Hause = our Championship version of Laursen and Mellberg.
  6. Well at least Steer has competition, which is something he wouldn't have had from Nyland, even if he was fit! Why don't you just enjoy it and get behind the team?
  7. First goal was a freak but he really acquitted himself well after that. Fair play to Smith and co for bringing him back?
  8. But, I dare you to give credit to Smith for sorting out the centre back situation by bringing in Mings and Hause, who look absolutely immense, as well as bringing back Elphick. Remember, when Smith came in, Bruce had left him with an unfit Chester and Tuanxebe who had spent most of his Villa loan playing at right back. The back up was Jedinak. How could Smith possibly work with that and be expected to get winning results? We are better defensively and that allows our more attack-minded players to thrive. We've just taken 9 points from teams above us. You criticised Smith on Sunday for dropping McGinn. Tonight, McGinn came in and scored two. Would he have been as good had he played the whole game on Sunday?
  9. The worst thing about Forest and Sheffield Wednesday is that they are both managed by former managers of ours that would probably love to get one over on us by keeping us out of the play-offs.
  10. I love Smith's comments about the 15,000 idiots who cheered off the 12th "man". Best comment of the day!
  11. And the man that made those changes is Dean Smith so I assume you think he did well? That was not a game of football for the faint-hearted. Small Heathens were doing everything possible to get stuck into our players and stop us from playing. Smith's order of the day was to keep our heads, drown out the noise from the sty and, be professional. The players did exactly that! Once we got past their blatant fouling we showed our mettle and true class, which will always be more than those from Small Heath.
  12. I was disappointed with him yesterday. If ever there was an occasion to bring the "stamp" out.......
  13. Jack, so proud of you and the way you showed your true class as both a player and human being yesterday. Kieftenbeld tried to break you in half, Gardner tried to rugby tackle you, even their twelfth man tried to chin you, yet you didn't let it phase you and became the match winner for the club you love. Don't feel bitter towards Small Heath, they haven't had a player with the ability you've got for over 30 years - it's jealousy!
  14. They really are knuckle-draggers. Have you ever tried talking football with them? They always come back to Trevor Francis and how hard done by they've been etc. I have members of family that support Blues and they really are the worst lot in my family, thugs and people you wouldn't want to associate with. There's honestly something wrong with most Blues fans mentally. But, it's not just the fans. Every time we play them they do their level best to kick lumps out of our players. They show no intent to outplay us, they just try to intimidate and use thuggery in order to try to gain any advantage possible because they are as talentless and classless as their supporters.
  15. Then, got sent off and blamed Dean Smith because he hadn't coached it into you to avoid situations like that?
  16. That amazes me, considering he could have sat in many other more comfortable (if possible in a sty) places in the ground. From now on, Tommy gets a whole lot more kindness from me.
  17. Are you from Birmingham? Let me tell you, I know loads of them, either from work or drinking in my local, they are, in the main, absolute scum. Want examples? I was in my local one day. Blues were the live game v some other Championship team. I got speaking with a decent bloke who is a Blues fan. He told he how he grew up watching Villa but changed allegiance because of his Dad. A guy, that the guy I walking to knew, came over to us and said to him "Kev, I'm disappointed in you mate. Fancy talking to a Villa fan" then walked off, really angrily. I was watching a Villa away game in another local one night and there were two young (18-20) Villa fans sat in front of the main TV. All I heard was a mocking voice saying "Tammy, Tammy" throughout the game. I was so pissed off that I asked this guy what his problem was. He said supported Blues and was sickened by the two young lads shouting for Tammy to score. We argued all night because he really was the biggest clearing in the woods I'd met in my life. I've not seen him since but that's what they're like - just knuckleheads who have nothing to live for.
  18. Kieftenbeld hit Jack harder than that knuckle dragger out of the sty. That clogger should be banned from football on the grounds of being an imposter! Every game he smashes Jack and gets away with it and it's about time he was dealt with.
  19. If you want to know where underage kids are conceived look no further than Small Heath alliance fans - I know this first hand, unfortunately!
  20. Mate, no idea why people will laugh at that but I agree, to a certain extent. Player has an opposing "fan" run into the pitch to hit him and he goes on to score the winner. It will be seen around Europe and Jack's profile, as such, will be extended abroad.
  21. I think we need to get to 72 points to have a decent chance of top 6. We need to help ourselves by beating Small Heath today.
  22. He also needs Usain Bolt to learn him how to run faster!
  23. Wasn't there something mentioned about one of the owners buying the Bodymoor Heath land off the club and then letting us stay there, or something like that? I may have been drunk when reading that though! But, like you say, it does seem odd us spending money like that and bringing loanees in with options to buy if there's no money.
