This man is clueless and must stand up and be accountable for how he's getting this team to play. Those players play over 40 games a season where they press the opposition high up the pitch. They put the England shirt on and just sit back. There was an instance late on in the game against Denmark where Rice attempted to win a ball by the sideline halfway into the Danish half. The ball went out for a throw to the Danes and he literally sprinted back to just in front of our two centre backs. It is being programmed into them how Southgate wants them to play. It's against their natural ability and week-to-week mindset. He needs to go now!

Has Monchi gained some kind of addiction for left backs? We've got two good players already, have that Lino kid, seemingly buying Maatsen and then considering taking IlinggJunior as part of the Luiz deal. What is going on?

For me, John shouldn't be playing in his own half. I love him and he brings so much to our team/club but I personally think he is a liability when he plays a deeper role. Watch John closely. Watch how often he receives a ball from someone to his right and he - 9 times out of 10 - will let the ball roll across him so that he can get on his left foot. Opponents have sussed him out and Germany snuffed him out last night by preventing him getting onto his left foot. Keep him on his right and you pretty much nullify John. I prefer it when he plays further forward as gets stuck in and often wins the ball back high up the pitch. He has a good shot on him too and drives forward when on the ball.

I know a guy whose daughter goes to school with Emi Martinez's son. Last year, he apparently said goodbye to her in the summer because he believed his dad was joining Man Utd. That obviously didn't happen but it could be an example of how close a deal can be but then not go through?

I feel sorry for Dougie had he seems to have become the sacrificial lamb. However, I think that Unai will have seen enough of Tielemans to probably believe he has someone there who will fill the void. One thing not being mentioned much is how much of an impact losing Dougie may be on our set pieces. He takes nearly all our free kicks and corners, and takes all the penalties.

This says it all. The guy seems to be Dougie's concierge so the "cries" part would suggest Dougie is off. If this is purely be use of the PSR rules it's disgusting. However, our top management, the businessmen, should have known this would happen and planned better for it.

I can confirm that Xavi Simons has been a great signing for me and a brilliant replacement for the outgoing Jamal Musiala, on a certain footballing video game For the record, Ismael Bennacer has been a rock in the Kamara role that last season too. Maybe we should look at him?

Unless you consider that the most urgent requirement in our team is to bolster our leaky defence? What if Unai and Monchi think of it in this way..... Sell Luiz for £90m which leaves room for Tielemans to play from the start and use that £90m to buy a star centre back? The net gain is we bolster our defence greatly and level out in midfield.

I can see Villa bringing in Wilfried Ndidi from Leicester in the summer. He's available on a free in June and he plays a position we need cover in - defensive midfield. He won't have to relocate and should settle in fairly easily with having Tielemans here.

Lenglet and Zaniolo will go back. Need to get Dendoncker, Coutinho, Hause, Chambers off the wage bill. Loan out or sell Iroegbunam, Kesler-Hayden. If we bring in Hermoso on a free I can see that meaning Digne leaving and we should be able to get money for him after the season he has had. Hermoso would cover the departure of Digne and Mings would cover the departure of Lenglet. We have Nedeljkovic coming in to challenge Cash for right back. Ramsey and Buendia returning will fill the void left by Zaniolo. If we can somehow bring 20-30 million in from sales, surely that will give us money to spend in the market? Definitely need another holding midfielder to see us through to when Bouba returns. Martinez - Olsen Cash - Nedeljkovic Konsa - Carlos Torres - Mings Hermoso - Moreno Bouba -? Luiz - Tielemans McGinn - Diaby Bailey - Buendia Rogers - Ramsey Watkins - Duran What/where needs replacing/improving? Olsen? Cash? I am not sure about the Baena links. Think it could be lazy journalism. Also, it seems like he plays a position we have plenty of cover in. Holding midfielder (Ndidi?), better back-up keeper (?), better starting right back (Frimpong?) may be the only recruitment needed?

Moussa will be absolutely fine long term. He's produced this season and it still looks like we need more from him. He will only get better and, in my opinion, he's earnt the right to have time to show us what he is really made of.

Leon is playing some phenomenal stuff for us. He's clearly injured and playing in pain, but that's not preventing him from producing fantastic displays.

Bailey moaning at Watkins for not telling him he was offside. Diaby was running at the ball so surely he knew? Crazy from Leon to take that ball when uncertain about being on? Ollie too desperate to get that 20th and cost Dougie a tap in. Got to keep our heads because we can get this back for sure.

Diaby, Digne, Martinez and Carlos having a terrible day at the office. Bailey, Tielemans and Watkins are on it. McGinn trying too much. Konsa is steady self, Torres too. Luiz on the periphery.

I don't know where to put this do here goes. What would be your starting eleven from our current squad if everyone is fit? Mine is: Martinez, Cash (or new RB - NOT KONSA), Konsa, Torres, Digne, Kamara, Luiz, McGinn, Bailey, Rogers, Watkins. Who do we need to replace in the starting eleven? Not based on tonight - over the whole season? I'm suggesting Cash (not sure defensively), Luiz (think we can find as good or better for half we'd sell him for). In my opinion, we need: A new - better - number two GK, new Right Back, back-up DM for Kamara, back-up striker to Watkins, and maybe someone who can play the Luiz role for half the price we'd sell him for?

Gonna be tough if this goes past 90 minutes. Maybe Omari Kellyman will finally make the impact I'm hoping for from him and score the winner in extra time: "Soon may the Kellyman come to score and save our European run"

This is fighting talk from Moussa and I hope that means he and the rest of the players are up for it. He needs to be bringing his A game after comments like those.
