General could I ask a little something from you. Could you pass on my sincere thanks to Randy, Martin & all the staff for all they have done over the last year and for the work they continue to do at Aston Villa. You dont know how much the changes over the past year have put a lot of joy into my long suffering love of Football. I may be but one fan but I feel I must let you know how much I appretiate the work you all have put in. It makes taking other problems and pressures in life that much easier.

I have faith. But on Sept 1st I may be frustrated with our summer signings or lack of. But that will nver change my total faith in who I believe is an almighty blessing on our club. Martin O'Neil. ....and he's Irish too

Hi General, I'm from little old Ireland and over here it's all Liverpool or Man Utd supporters. Just tradition I suppose, but Aston Villa used to be the next best supported club here and I would just wish Villa could be more publicised over here. Even Chelsea (who nobody supports) have more jerseys on shop shelves. And with Paul McGrath being as close to a God as Aston Villa have Villa should be challanging Liverpool and Man Utd more on our shores for support. I make the treck to Villa Park and to away games 4 or 5 times a year and many more do the same. I know it's not as important as season ticket holders but Villa used to be one of Irish supporters big teams, I wish it to be the same again. Irish Villans like McGrath, Townsend, Houghton, Irelands current manager Staunton, are the reason there are plenty of Villans in Ireland. But the new generation are all Liverpool or Man Utd.

I think Gabby will be a better forward for Villa. BUT I think Luke has more talent to be a true goal scorer, hence why I think Luke should be given a shot to prove himself. Yes Gabby is faster, yes he had a better season, yes I love the kid to bits. BUT, There is more scoring potential in Luke. He just has the eye for goal. I think if given the shot up front this season he'll do very well, the kid has talent and I think it'll show. Thats why I'm so against the signing of Defoe or anyone else, I think Moore deserves the chance to show what he can do, and I think he will. Go on Luke, bank in 10 or 12.
