Yes they messed up with the draw. It should be the final Murray, Nadal and Djokovic all have the better of Federer these days. I know Federer won Wimbledon but I think playing under the roof was too his advantage or maybe he's just a threat on grass these days.

Sorry never spotted it. Federer struggling against tsonga, never fancied him on clay anyway.

I couldn't find a Tennis thread so thought I would start one. Any thoughts on the French open. Can anybody see past Nadal winning an 8th championship. If there's anybody that can beat him its Djokovic who beat him quite easily in Monte Carlo.

I also suspect If Curtis had remained alive, the band would either have split anyway before Blue Monday or never gone down the path that it did. Yes ceremony was written by Curtis wasn't it? I can't imagine Curtis doing all that dance stuff, mind you I couldn't have imagined Hook doing it either. Blue Monday meant a lot to me as i'd just taken over a record shop and that was my biggest selling 12" single ever. I couldn't get enough of them. Factory records, distributed by Pinnacle.

Pretty sure Curtis would of had nothing to do with Blue Monday. Do you like the Movement album ? Personally I love it . Movement is actually my favourite New Order Album. It is the only one I listen to from start to finish Yes I like movement too buts its not one of their favourites as it was a transitional album between them and JD. Probably power corruption and lies is my fav. I must admit the last couple of albums have been crap.

The film control is possibly the best singer/band movie of all time. Sam Riley did a pretty good job as Ian Curtis Not at all. Whilst musically they retain the ethos of Joy Division in a practical sense they sound completely different. They're Joy Division evolved. Horses for courses, I like both. edit - Yes, it's a marvelous film. One for another thread I guess but I'd recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. Riley nails it. Don't get me wrong I remain a fan of new order. Ceremony and temptation are my two fav tracks. I think that lacked a frontman. Summers is no Curtis but heck they enjoyed much greater success as new order.

On the evidence of tonight this is one of the poorest Brazilian sides I can remember. I really don't know who is going to win the world cup next year. Argentina, Germany, Spain and although I don't think Belgium will win it they have certainly one of the most talented group of players, providing they qualify of course. he's got no chance, welbeck will play left wing, like i said i think gabby would balance it and give the team real pace down each wing, instead we'll have welbeck doing his headless chicken routine, then throw in theo's delivery and johnsons insistence on cutting in on to his left we dont put the ball in enough, which when you consider half the time we have rooney "upfront" its just really poor attacking play, no shape no options I'm sick of seeing Johnson in an England shirt. Well its not really their game. I used to work in the states and played alot of football when i was there. One thing i noticed was that in general the girls technically were alot better than the boys when we played. That's surprising. Why is that? Isn't the US womens soccer league fully professional and attract the best female players in the world
