  1. He reminds me more of Denmark's best ever outfield player Michael Laudrup.
  2. We literally have no batsmen, thanks to the enormous loans taken out with the council etc to cover the cost of the new pavilion etc. Yes but its only a year a go that we won the title, so we haven't become a bad team overnight. Warwickshire's way of playing is for the batsmen to bat out the overs and to wear the bowlers out so the lower order can take advantage. Problem has been we've been without Woakes most of the season, Barker has only just returned. Just when he was looking good we have lost Laurie Evans through injury so with Porterfield totally out of sorts theres no competition for places. Yes the ground redevelopment has cut our purse strings but that isn't the reason. We've come 2nd and 1st in the championship in the last two years and we have also won and got to the final of the cb40 so its not all bad. We've also had a change of management with Ashley Giles getting the England one day job and Dougie Brown is the new director of cricket and he has his own ideas. We also don't need bowlers. we have the best seam attack by miles. No chance of us going down either! Derby are Surrey and a lot worse.
  3. My dad took me down when I was 8 and I've been a fan ever since.

I adore this version with Kaori Muraji Theres a number of others I like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1tyVlKjJZI]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1tyVlKjJZI Erik Satie Gnossienne No. 1 from the film the painted Veil
  5. Very impressive skills. He has the look of a Michael Laudrup to me. If he can be 1/10 as good as the greatest Dane of all time that will do for me.
  6. Not really. They haven't qualified for a tournament in 10 years. It's only natural that they'd be behind us in the rankings. I agree with your first sentence but not the second. England's ranking is too high but as yet Belgium don't merit a higher ranking, although I think they'll go further than us in the world cup.
  7. Yes it just depends on how low we want to set our standards. With new players coming in I don't see him figuring much next season
  8. Grass is the only surface Federer has a realistic chance on. Lets not forget he got to the semi-final of the Australian and only lost to Murray in 5 sets. Having said that I think its between Murray and Djokovic. Nadal doesn't sound over confident of competing, although he's probably having us on! The only player outside the top 4 or should I say the top 3 + no. 5, I see having a chance is Del Potro, who on his day is unplayable.
  9. Yes best of luck to him. Its a position we definitely needed to strengthen
  10. Always thought he would stay, but its good news anyway
  11. Yes it was an epic semi-final which I think turned when Djokovic was on serve 4-3 up in the final set and he hit a winner but his momentum carried him forward into the net. Nadal went on to break serve otherwise it would probably have been 5-3 Djokovic. I wonder how many games Ferrer will get tomorrow. He got 5 in the semi last year.
  12. Amazing record Robbie Keane. Now the 5th highest scorer in European history. Behind greats like Puskas and Muller!
  13. Belgium have a great crop of young players. Maybe they didn't qualify for the euro 2012 but the likes of Benteke and Lakuku weren't around and Hazard was too young. They wont win the world cup but I can see them reaching the semi's
  14. Its New Order by a distance. Although it certainly isn't one of their better tracks.
  15. Yes I don't think premiere league clubs should be allowed to loan out player to other premiere league clubs just to get experience of first team football. Obviously we know that Lakuku greatly benefited West Brom as Walker did us. I think its got even more ridiculous when West Ham paid a fee to get Carroll on loan lasts season.
  16. I'm sorry but I've never really understood why Shawshank Redemption is so highly rated. To me its just another prison drama. No originality.
  17. Meh, Lowton > Walker... I'll take Vertonghen instead I love Lowton but I'd still take Walker over him.
  18. Walker + Bale that would a suitable swap
  19. Yes that list had one or two films I forgot about
  20. and then you realise that the one you were dating was better in the first place but by then its too late lol
  21. From that list Unforgiven but there's a few great films missed out. Naked, Fight Club, Being Jon Malkovich., boys don't cry and American history x
  22. Yes but there is rarely an era where you have 4 great players at any one time. When Djokovic won 3 grand slam events in 2011 to me that was as remarkable as anything Federer has done because of the competition around. In terms of pure class Federer has no equal. But Djokovic has raised the bar in terms of athleticism and that double handed backhand is a thing of beauty.
  23. I would say Federer has been quite fortunate for a large part of his career only having Nadal to worry about. In my mind Djokovic in 2011 raised the level and Nadal and Federer had to raise their game to compete with him. Murray is very unfortunate to come along at prob the strongest time ever in mens tennis.
  24. Yes he did loose at that ATP World final event at the o2 arena to djokovic. He has a chance at Wimbledon but its not only Berdych and Tsonga he needs to avoid. There's Del Potro as well who's a monster on his day. Somehow I think Wimbledon will be between Djokovic and Murray.
