    Glastonbury 2013

Mick Jagger doesn't half move well for nearly 70. I am bit worried Keith Richards might die on stage though!
  2. Yes I think she's potential top 10 player.
  3. Fairly comfortable in the end for Djokovic. Berdych and Del Potro still in that half of the draw so potentially some danger ahead. Murray seems to have an easy ride into the final.
  4. could be a classic. Don't think Dimitrov is ready yet to step into the big time even if he wins this
  5. We live in a pretty shallow world if all that matters is looks and money. Maybe he's a nice kind caring man who makes her laugh. The female tennis player that does it for me is marion bartoli. Not the tall classical blonde like a Sharopova but she has that feistiness which appeals to me.
  6. 2.4 mil is a fortune in the Ukraine. Anyway I thought he played brilliant today and it was good old fashioned serve and volley tennis. It might be the end of an era. Federer lost heavily to Tsonga in the French and there is a noticeable decline. With the way Wimbledon has started you cant say anything is nailed on any more. Djokovic now has the much tougher half of the draw with Del Potro and Berdych potentially in the quarters and semis. Maybe its just Murrays time!
  7. How does an ugly word removed like that get someone like her? Because he's rich and plays tennis
  8. Dunno he had some tough games last year. He came back from two sets down in one match. I think with Nadal out, its opened it up for Federer. I think Murray may beat him though especially if it stays dry.
  9. Yes it would be helpful if we had sufficient permissions to delete our own posts.
  10. 50 mil plus Ireland off our hands.
  11. yes I would take Milner back but not Barry
  12. Yes But that claim doesn't stand up to scrutiny. Murray is losing in his head to head record against Nadal (W5 L12) but winning in his head to head against Federer (W11 L9) Djokovic is losing in his head to head record against both, but has a better record against Federer (W13 L16) than he does against Nadal (W15 L20) and if you look at recent records Djokovic has got the upper hand against Federer in slams, he beat him in the US open 2011 and again in straight sets at Roland Garros in 2012. He did loose at Wimbledon last year though but generally he has had the upper hand against Federer and Nadal except on clay against Nadal.
  13. Its a bit pointless betting at this stage because the odds wont change that much until after the quarters and with Nadal you can never be sure about his fitness.
  14. Any other era Murray would have won a handful of grand slams, but you cant call him one of the greatest of all time. Not yet anyway.
  15. I'd argue the 4 greatest tennis players of all time are from the current batch Federer , Nadal , Djokovic and Murray Harsh on the Sampras'ssss of the world but I don't beleive Sampras would have dominated if he were playing now against those 4 I think its the greatest era ever in men's tennis
  16. No hes got tendinitis in his knees
  17. Quite clearly he was injured. It takes something away from the tournament Nadal being knocked out so early on. My feeling is Djokovic will win it but Murray on grass is a big threat.
  18. No he wouldn't fit into Lamberts policy of signing young hungry players. Put it this way I would rather have Westwood in the side than Barry.
  19. Wasn't quite good enough, so good to move him on
  20. Yes doesn't always work out that way.
  21. Yes I just the game isn't decided by the toss of a coin like the two semi-finals were.
  22. He's very different to what we have already, which is good. It might take him some time to adapt to the physical side of the premiere league but its great that Lambert is making these signings so early in the summer as now they will have a full pre-season training with us. Good luck to the lad!
  23. Quite agree and dhawan had been the outstanding batsman. Still fancy England to win it. Edgbaston is their fav ground and England have the best seam attack. They might need to replace Bresnan with Finn though
  24. Anyone watching the ICC Trophy. Two great semi-finals to look forward to. I'd probably just go for a England V India final, but both South Africa and Sri Lanka have their match winners. jayawardene and Sangakarra are two class batsmen and Dale Steyn is up there with the best pace bowlers of all time. His S/R in test cricket shows that.
  25. Yes he's been around for quite a while so good to see him eventually win a major. First English US open winner since Tony Jacklin. Theres been two from Northern Ireland that have won it though
