Its a long story and people will be able to explain better than me. He had to this mental health problem at Villa and wanted to be left out of the team. Gregory was not supportive and the fans agreed with the manager. great talent but didn't make the best of his career. It was the pressure that got on top of Collymore. Gregory said something like "Pressure is not being able to pay your bills", but mental breakdowns can happen to people in all walks of life. Gregory was an arsehole and with more support maybe Collymore could have done better for us!

Belgium will get the draw against Croatia and then he wont play against Wales. Just hope he's fit for spurs because this is not the best preparation for him. A little 20 minutes against Wales might not be the worst thing really.

The chances of him selecting England are slim anyway. Either he will have to wait until he is 23 or if England opt out of the residential rule he wont qualify at all. I think Belgium are favourites but he's a young lad and wants to make the right decision. He probably just wants to focus on playing for united at this stage. Maybe he will be in the Belgium world cup squad when the time comes. He's not going to want to wait 5 years to get international football. Belgium have better players than any of the other countries so its a no brainer really.

Really I don't think top 6 or 7 was ever going to be achievable, not this season. We are some way behind Liverpool and Everton. I still think we can finish 8th. We're progressing the right way . Long term development with managing the wage bill.

Yes maybe its just the balance of the subs bench. Luna may still be carrying an injury so Bennett cover for him, and Baker on the bench also. Just didn't need 3 defenders on the bench. Nothing more to it than that.

Yes depends on the nature of the hip injury. Backs are worse! Its Hip Flexor muscle which controls the range of movements. So if he has his full range of movement back then he should be fine.

Trouble with 3 at the back is the defenders don't know who to mark and we were crap from corners against city. I don't want us to risk it! Stick with what we know. Weimann needs to improve on the weekend but he will prefer playing with Benteke than Kozak. Maybe Sylla for KEA as he didn't make much impact at Hull. Westwood just needs match practice and ball retention is important.

Guess there's many posters on here who would be a great laugh in the dressing room but that doesn't mean we'd want them in the team. Sorry I think on a bench you want players that can impact a game. Being on low wages and being great in the dressing room is largely irrelevant. he can impact a game though, just not in the way you want him to. he's a good shout for bringing on to either close something out, or tire defenders even more. he won't score, and he'll only set up the odd goal, but sometimes you need someone who'll go on and just be a bit of a nuisance Ok fair enough!

The evening mail writer wasn't impressed with his performance. Good job El Mohammedi couldn't cross and he hardly got forward to supply and supply any crosses. In all honesty Bennett would have got forward more.

No I doubt whether he will and we all like tryers but that isn't enough without some end product. I personally just don't think he's good enough for a club of the stature of Villa.

To be fair Heskey at 21 was 10 times the player Bowery is. That's not to say bowery wont improve but he will never be as good as Heskey.

Not yet and I'm a fan of Lowton, however our defence looks a lot better since bacuna has played at right back and he has shown he can get forward like with that brilliant run at Hull. He could also do a good job on the right side of midfield giving Lowton cover.

Yes bringing a forward on to close out a game is a new one to me. I thought strikers were brought on to score goals! Bowery would be fine at Walsall.
