I thought he was our best striker today. Yes his shooting was amiss but he was always getting in there trying. How many efforts on goal did Kozak and Agbonlahor muster between them.

Yes I thought Delph had a mixed game. He worked hard on and off the ball but also gave it away a lot and missed his pass.

Frustrating to watch. Clearly Benteke won more headers in the first two minutes of him being on the pitch than Kozak did in his 60 minutes. we huffed and puffed but the better team won. Only positive was having Benteke back on the pitch.

There were no clearcut chances for him though. He had to hit a couple first time and he didn't miss the second one by much. At least he's putting himself about. Best chance for us fell to Gabby and once again he missed.

We did ok but still could be 2-0 down but for a great save from Guzan, We haven't worked their goalkeeper. weimann looks sharper but not impressed once again with Kozak. KEA is awful on the ball. Our fullbacks have done well.

Got to agree I think Norwich will be ok. They are a better side than Hull.

While the fixture list has been kind to them, they have had a couple of big tests other than us. The beat Spurs when everybody was expecting Spurs to win, and they played an excellent Napoli side off the park in the Champions League. They've got Palace next week which they will probably win but then they have a four game run where they play Chelsea, Liverpool, Dortmund and Manchester United. If they come through that with two or three wins then I think we can talk about them as serious contenders. We have to remember they had a fantastic run at the backend of last season which got them into the top 4 . The Chelsea, Liverpool and Man U games coming up may show us whether they are serious title contenders. They have an abundance of talent in midfield, Walcott could play upfront when hes fit. Good goalkeeper, defence is better than it was. I don't see why they cant win the league. For me its between them, Chelsea and City.

Won't happen. Roy Hodgson doesn't know Aston Vlla exist. If Gabby scores more than 10 goals this season from the LF position and we finish top 10, Roy will pick him. Same with Delph. Didn't he do that last season and Roy still didn't pick him. I think he's way down in the pecking order and would have do something sensational to get into the world cup squad.

He is getting credit not for the flick, rather how he made the Citeh defenders focus on him rather than the ball which allowed the ball to go on through to Weimann. Without Kozak there, those defenders easily clear the ball. In all fairness any centre forward would have done that.

We don't need to get too worried about Townsend we have played against him before. Put it this way would you rather play against Townsend or Bale?

A race between the two of them would be interesting.

Why would anyone want to take a 2-0 home defeat, it doesn't make any sense that sort of defeatism.

I don't wish them to wilt. Its good to see a small country like Belgium produce so much talent and unlike England, the golden generation is not just 3 or 4 players. They have options in all positions.

Disagree, Walker and Townsend on the right are going to be such an attacking force. Ok Walker has a few things to learn defensively but he's just about the quickest player around and pace is such an asset to have.

that you Glenn? just repeating him. No but I do think its unlikely we can win in South America. In any case we are not good enough to be thinking of winning it. A quarter final would be great.

Portugal are the worst divers in Europe and I hate their players' attitude towards sportsmanship. I wouldn't miss them in the slightest and I'd get a kick out of knowing Ronaldo and I were both watching the cup on a telly. Yes but surely you want to see the best players in the world play in the world cup finals. It will be like having a world cup without Pele when he was playing.
