Just heard a report on Absolute Radio which said that a smoke bomb had been thrown from the crowd at Villa Park during Aston Villa's PL clash with Spurs... making it sound like it was a Villa fan that threw it, unbelievable! I've noticed this among a few media outlets. They all seem happy enough to mention Villa Park in the headline, but I've not seen one story which really emphasises the fact that it was a Tottenham fan who threw the object. Yes i thought the same when i heard it

KEA has been doing a lot of good destructive work in the middle, he wasn't great yesterday but still did a lot of harrying. Sylla has potential but at times the game seems to go on around him, I dont think he is necessarily a better choice than KEA. Westwood is part of the problem, because he isn't doing what he should be, he disappeared for a large spell in the second half, his set pieces were generally disappointing and there was very little incisive forward passing. Yes i agree KEA does the destructive part well but its something i think Sylla would do just as well and his extra pace and physique may be a better alternative. We dont have a replacement for Westwood. We had Bannan last year who everybody thought was crap. But Westwood is the only ball playing midfielder we have now. Maybe this is an area that Lambert should look at in January.

what about 1 and 2. Not sure i agree that 95 was crap. It was quite groundbreaking in that it was the first 32bit os. Anybody upgraded to 8.1. Any thoughts?

They scored goals. We weren't just a counter attacking side at the back end of last season. For 60 minutes against Chelsea at home we took the game to them and played some exhilarating stuff. We have just not reached those standards at home this season. To be honest we have been poor at home. We just got very lucky against Man City.

If he got the end part to his game right we'd be talking about someone in the Ramsey class.

Its been said enough. We know the wide men can do it. They proved that last season.

I'd rather have Jordon Bowery up front than Kozak right now. No pace, poor control, doesn't win any headers, failed to run across the defender when Weimann put in a good cross. he makes the wide men look bad that's the problem. Right now I wouldn't want him on the bench.

To me Westwood isn't the problem. He has come back from injury and hasn't been quite at his best yet. The midfield hasn't been as good since KEA has been back in the side. Drop KEA for Sylla.

I'd be more worried if Weimann wasn't getting into goalscoring positions. He will start scoring again soon but not if we leave him out. He'll be better now Benteke is back. I am more worried about the form of Agbonlahor to be honest. Hasn't scored this season and doesn't look like scoring either. He was brilliant at the end of last season and at Arsenal.

Yes but in all fairness we didn't really create much. The only decent chances we had was the one for Agbonlahor first half and the Benteke one. whereas Guzan made two top drawer saves. The shot count is misleading as most of them were from distance and way off target. I don't think we deserved anything out of the game.

Just pleased to have him back. I know we picked up 7 points without him but we are so much better with him in the team.

He wasn't good against Curtis Davies either who is hardly a top class defender. Maybe he needs time but right now he is not good enough for the Premier League.

I didn't say good but not as bad as people make out. Nobody says anything about the amount of times KEA gave the ball away in possession.

I didn't think he was as bad as people make out. He did put in one great freekick and played a fantastic 40 yard pass. Seems to be a soft target this season.

Yes in possession we have deteriorated this season. Not sure why but we don't seem to have the same composure we did at the end of last season. Guess its being a really tough opening to the season so better to judge when we play against teams our equal or worse.

To be fair it may have been different if we had of started the game with Benteke.

Yes guess he was up against a full back with equal pace. One good chance missed and created little. Not his best game and wont inspire hodgson to pick him.

If you want him dropped fine. Guess he will be a good impact sub. As long as I don't see Kozak on the pitch next villa game I don't really care.

Yes he was terrible. With him up front we look totally toothless. May end up being Lambert's worse signing.
