  1. No evidence that he could turn it round at any minute, ridiculous. You also predict a loss and moan about the team before every single game. No its so ridiculous he only scored 19 league goals last season.
  2. Yes although it hasn't protected other celebs. Was Townsend caught accessing a child porn site and got away with it because he claimed it was for research? Having looked into that it may be the case he wasn't accessing child porn at all, something to do with his credit card. Yes his story does seem a little far-fetched but they couldn't find any indecent images or that he had actually accessed the site he had paid for by credit card. Not too difficult for to remove all traces but he has to be given the benefit of the doubt.
  3. Agreed! Although it will be interesting to see how Tonev performs there. Guess Delph will offer good cover but that isn't exactly the role we want from him is it!
  4. Bose posted it, Hairyhands liked the post. Same scenario happened last week and we all knew the team a day before the game. Yes and he's right every-time. I just hope he's wrong about Benteke being left out. I know he hasn't been good but it only takes a goal and he will be back to his best again.
  5. Me neither and if Tonev is left wing back that is going to leave us horribly exposed down our left side. Actually if we are going to play wing backs then Lowton should play.
  6. Yes I'd like to see Weimann and Gabby up front. Get in behind them! Kozak is willing runner but he hasn't got the pace.Still doubtful that Lambert will drop Benteke though!
  7. Well he certainly won't be playing champions league football for Palace. No it cant be compared to selling Cahill. Having said that his replacement Curtis Davis has been playing very well for Hull this season. He had plenty of game time under Lambert. Something must have happened though with them because he was left out of the squad altogether at the end of the season. I want him to do well because I have always liked him and know he has ability. We saw that occasionally like against Man U at home in the 2-2 draw.
  8. We certainly played some good football at the backend of last season. Mcleish is a defensive manager. No way you can say that about Lambert playing 3 up front.
  9. Very strange because I only saw one misplaced pass myself. He also should have had another assist when an easy header was missed from a brilliant Bannan cross.
  10. Don't know you want the best teams getting to the later stages. Once you get rid of the poorer teams and we get down to the knockout stage it gets more interesting.
  11. We don't score many goals from corners do we! Tonight Bannan hit in 3 or 4 fantastic deliveries. His first touch was always good and i can only remember one misplaced pass the whole game. He needs to be liked i think!
  12. Yes its a shame we never got the best out of him. Because there's a good deal of talent there.
  13. Decent first half by Bannan. Neat and tidy on the ball and the assist. West Ham must be kicking themselves to be 1-0 though!
  14. Yes very true. He's better than Sylla isn't he?
  15. Nope people are judging us how we played in certain games with a 3-5-2 last season but this season we beat Man City with that formation and we saw the dramtatic turn-around against West Brom. Its not just about formations anyway! That's why I included the second sentence. yep
  16. We probably had our best away performance of last season with that formation. Actually two best away performances, Norwich in the cup too.
  17. Nope people are judging us how we played in certain games with a 3-5-2 last season but this season we beat Man City with that formation and we saw the dramtatic turn-around against West Brom. Its not just about formations anyway!
  18. Yes but Weimann coming off the bench with 30 minutes to go might be more effective than starting with him.
  19. i don't really have a lot of time for Barry as he wanted to leave us. So no way should we have had him back. Anyway he might suit the Everton midfield but his lack of pace would't suit ours. He's a good player, comfortable on the ball, rarely gives it away but he's not that good.
  20. Not particularly keen on Crawley but I hope he does well there. gosh his career has gone down since he left us.
