  1. Yes bjt don't think Wenger will want him, Benteke yes but his form has been poor but he would do a lot better in that Arsenal team not having to feed off 50 yard hoofs up the park. He would have the ball played to his feet which he likes and he can hold it up and bring players like Ramsey in... Perfect replacement for Giroud but with pace..
  2. I don't know if Berbatov would fit Arsenal. He can't do the job giroud does because he doesn't work hard enough. Walcott isn't getting a look in at the moment. If Arsenal are looking to win the league and progress in the champions league they need to set their sights higher than Berbatov. A possible return for RVP. An increased bid for Suarez.
  3. Yes but their attendances didn't go up and there's nothing to suggest ours would if we moved.
  4. No I wouldn't have Bacuna in the side against United. He did well for a while at rb but has been terrible lately and the one time he played in midfield he was poor.
  5. Nah Villa Park is still a great stadium. We rarely fill it so now is not the time for talk of moving.
  6. Exactly and they are still through and if they are going to get anywhere in the tournament they will have to beat the better sides anyway. Its just means they have a tougher last 16! Its going to be tough them having to play city saturday lunchtime having only rested Ramsey for most of the game and Wilshere.
  7. That was the best group. Arsenal face a stiffer challenge in the knockout stage now!
  8. Middle of the road but I like it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOmNeQHyLA4
  9. Yes he's ok, There's far worse actors like Ashton Kutcher.
  10. Agree, it should be abandoned at home immediately. If Luna is fit, I have an inkling we will go to three at the back for this one (sorry Kwan), especially after the horror-show at Fulham. So Clark, baker and Herd at the back. Lowton and Luna as wing backs. That makes good sense!
  11. I was picked up on the spelling of Wlishere before. I have been careful to spell his name right since..... Anyway are Arsenal going to top their group?
  12. Vlaar looks very unlikely to play this weekend. Luna has a good chance though so we'll probably see Clark and Baker as cbs
  13. Can't believe anyone would suggest Lambert should be sacked. Yes the football isn't great but we are in a comfortable midtable position and he's creating something long-term for the club and we may not see the full benefits of that for another couple of years.
  14. Yes he was good in war games. Great film of its time!
  15. Good film. It's not really a tough watch though IMHO. You heartless fiend. I watched the start of that recently (fell asleep). It reminded me of Breaking Bad. It does get much better the further you get into the film. It is a long slow paced movie. An outstanding performance by Harry Dean Stanton and well worth watching all the way through if you have the time and patience.
  16. Just watched Paris,Texas - Really great film from the 80s!
  17. yes 4-2 would have given them the extra away goal. Over both games though Bayern were the better team.
  18. Long-term Villa's potential is much bigger than Norwich. Despite the fact we are cutting our wage bill and spending less than Norwich we are still well ahead of them in the table.
  19. yes love those type of films with seperate lives that interconnect. Very good film!
  20. he should get a game against Sheffield utd
  21. I'd love this to happen but I've closely followed a few of our loanees and they are struggling to make an impact at lower levels - they are nowhere near ready for PL Yeah i haven't been following our loan players that closely, hasn't Grealish done pretty well? I wonder what it is that makes our players struggle to take the early step into senior football when Southampton, Arsenal and other clubs do it on a regular basis? Grealish has been at Notts County - he did really well at the start but has since been pretty average Plenty of time yet for him, but he is a long long way away from the Premiership yet scored a great goal saturday Good....I truly hope he will be highly successful here, but at the moment he is a way off being Premier league-ready No i agree he's not ready yet! Maybe a year or two away.
  22. West Ham have Man U, Arsenal and Tottenham in their next 4 games. Sunderland being their other one. They could be deep in it after Christmas. I think they will be one of the three.
  23. This. Can't Bacuna whip in some corners instead? Guess if he's in the team against Man U. I agree that we probably need someone else to have a go at corners. Tonev? don't laugh
