  1. Maybe but at least we should be able to move them on a little easier.
  2. I've been on a bit of a Woody Allen spree the last few weeks. Watching (and re-watching) some of his classics. Manhattan, Manhattan Murder Mystery, Mighty Aphrodite, Annie Hall, Purple Rose of Cairo and last night I watched Crimes and Misdemeanors for the first time. Absolutely brilliant, Martin Landau is so bloody good in it. I've been on a bit of a Woody Allen spree the last few weeks. Watching (and re-watching) some of his classics. 3. No chance Sylla being in the stating eleven after his woeful display against united
  4. lined up to replace Sam at West Ham I hear I think Spurs is too big for him, maybe West Brom!
  5. If he wasn't a local lad and gives us a laugh now and again would he be given as much chances? Not sure, I think his pace keeps him in the side.
  6. Arsenal will be disapointed they lost in Naples, they could have met Zenith. Anyway last year they narrowly lost over two legs to Bayern so not a foregone conclusion. City also have a chance.
  7. Was he that bad? I'm not entirely sure. They're 5 points off fourth, and I read somewhere that this season has been their best start to a PL season points-wise...? yes but if you wait too long they might be 10 or 12 points off 4th and out of the champions league race.
  8. cant see them going for Clark. Maybe Benitez or De Mateo. Of course they may just have interim manager until one becomes available. Bad decision to get rid of Harry i think. Excuse the pun but AVB was Baled out last season.
  9. Lack of consistency gets me. i like him but I thought he had another dissapointing performance game yesterday and I cant get away from the fact he has only scored 1 goal this season.
  10. Nobody can fault him for effort. I just think hes more an interim player for us, rather than someone who can take us forward. he's a far better footballer than Sylla though
  11. Who know they may have someone lined up,
  12. Only a year or two ago the English media were saying Anderson is better than Steyn. If the ball isnt swinging Anderson is innefective. Good case to play both Boyd and Finn next test and leave Anderson out!
  13. Agreed. It strikes me as an odd decision, though Spurs have a director of football model so I doubt all those signings were AVB's, which might explain why the signed Soldado when he clearly doesn't fit into the system they are trying to employ. AVB has got the media against him, a lot of that might be because he constantly comes across as being very rude and a bit of a prick but Harry's mates in the press have had it in for him since the day he took the job. I think its a combination of performances, results and the 5-0 home defeat was the final straw! Had to go imo
  14. Matt Kendrick sums him up! "Villa’s midfield nearly man. Not quite fast enough, strong enough or talented enough to halt United."
  15. He seemed to stuggle with that concept at Chelsea by playing Terry there as well. Odd. Spent all that money and still have a crap player like Dawson playing.
  16. Two reviews have gone against Bell this test. Fair play to Stokes he has played well for a young lad.
  17. I would play Bacuna where Sylla is, but aside from that not a bad shout. I wouldn't as neither of them can pass the ball
  18. No Gabby so I can see Benteke and Kozak playing up front together. Albrighton has to stay in the team and i really hope Vlaar is fit.
  19. i agree throw em in I say as long as the fans could see there trying there would be no hassle I'm sick of the of the only time I get my arse off my seat at villa park is because someone near me needs a slash look at Barkley at everton young lad who runs at defenses is love all that Barkley is a couple of years older than Grealish tbf
  20. I've lost count of how many clubs Harry Redknapp has relegated but he still finds work. Redknapps had a lot of good years too though. AVB had what, one good year at Porto? Someone will take a chance on AVB obviously, but his record doesn't inspire confidence. probably not in this country though!
  21. He was the only player we had in midfield who could play a forward pass. Its not Westwood thats the problem! Delph, Westwood + another creative player and we'll be a lot better.
  22. Changing the manager everytime you have a have a bad run is never the answer. You just go back to square one! We are in a safe position in the league. We won't go down and hopefully Lambert will be given a bigger spending budget to work with next summer than he was this. Lets face it he brought a ,lot of players in the this summer but they were all pretty cheap.
