You’ll never deal with it once and for all, its like saying we need to deal with murder once and for all.. its impossible. Unfortunately in this world there will always be good people and bad people. The only thing you can try and do is education and prevention, they’ll never be a ‘cure'. Is a case of good or bad. Are people going turn out this way naturally or do they become this way because either they were abused as a child, or corruption of the mind, by the stuff you can you find on the internet etc. What he did was sickening and beyond the comprehension of any normal human being.

Yes i can understand the hatred towards the man but its a sickness and if he does his time and gets help and is fit to be released after 23 years then justice has been done. Else we just live in lawless vigilante country. I agree to an extent. But we must also accept that some people are beyond rehabilitation and are not fit for society. Such is the extent of his crimes it wouldn't be wholly surprising if Ian Watkins is one if those people. Yes you are probably right and 23 years is only with parole so he may have to serve the full 35 years by which time he will be an old man and no longer a threat to society.

I'm not one of those who want Lambert gone right now, but as this question has been asked a million times I'll throw a name out there - Malky Mackay. Has Mackay done anymore for Cardiff than Lambert has done for Norwich and Villa. He has had a massive transfer budget at Cardiff.

For the small part he played in the robbery 30 years was a rediculously long sentence. Mixed views! No hero but I wouldn't condemn him either. It is strange that he was smallest cog in the machine but ends up being the most famous. Guess its more about the escape and the exile in Brazil and the beautiful stripper girlfriend than the actual part he played in the robbery. We do tend to glorify our criminals from the 60s. The Kray twins for instance who were a lot more sinsister and evil than Ronnie Biggs.

I am sure HH does not care about us jokingly speculating on his/her identity. HH has clearly been upset by the unfair criticism Paul Lambert has received recently. This is a discussion board. He obviously has as much right to post here as everybody else, but if he's going to do that, he has to expect that he's not going to agree with everything that's said. If people are expecting other posters not to disagree with a supposed ITKer in case they get upset and flounce off they're going to be disappointed. Fair enough but Villa Talk will be worse off for not having HH giving us his insight so its best not to piss him off.

Shame, he was such a nice chap. Two things: Firstly, people like him love the sound of their own voice and the sycophantic fawning that their snippets bring, so he'll be back. Secondly, the club love to release information via "unofficial" channels, so even if he isn't, somebody else will be made to feel special by the club and used as unwitting rumour mules. There've been loads of people on here and other forums over the years, the club have been doing it since Lerner first rocked up. I honestly don't care if he told everyone in here to suck on McL's knob for a little bit. He had info. We like info. We don't antagonize him. Or is everyone's obsessive need to be right trumpet the fact that we could have got early info just by not responding to him if we disagree? Certainly I don't buy into his whole sell but that's part of the deal. 100% agree and we should respect his right to keep his identity private instead of people making silly comments about who he might be.

OK HH we had a good finish to the end of last season and were playing some attractive attacking football then in the summer PL gets a further £20m to reinforce the squad and bring in more players could you please give us your thoughts on why the performances seem to have dropped off this season? At the end of last season we had three strikers playing the best football of their careers and also a Right Back who hit a golden streak of form.

I think you are always going to get reactive comments after a bad result. We have to look at the bigger picture., We have made progress whilst dramatically reducing out wage bill under Lambert.. FACT! We need to give him time to get us where all us fans want to be.

Ok do you think another Captain would have changed the result of this series? I do think Cook should be relinquished the captaincy duties because of the effect his having on his form and he is probably our most important batsman. All this talk of KP being our best player. He averages 36 since his reintegration!

I saw Stokes play for Durham 2nds when he was 17. obvious huge talent! I wondered whether he was good enougn to bat at 6 at this stage of his career but he looks the total package. Possibly going to be our best allrounder since Botham. Only thing i blame Cook for is his own form. Captain can only have a certain amount of infleuence on a team. Ask Michael Clarke! look at his record before this series! Big diff is Lehman! Flower out!
