Ok we have to agree to disagree on Bannan but Bacuna is never a creative midfield player. His main attribute is his pace not his technical ability and passing.

At this moment in time i can see only 1 point against West Brom but things can change. A fit again Benteke and Vlaar together with a creative midfield signing in early January hopefully and we may get 4 or 5 points.

I don't think Lambert is useless but I'm wondering about the sense in selling our most creative midfield player and getting no replacement in! He's no leader but he has a great first touch and can see a pass.

Benteke has been a great signing, kept us up last season and we'll show a big profit when we sell him Westwood - good but he's come from Crewe and its a big stepup Vlaar - another very good signing Lowton was great at times last season. Hasn't lived up to that this season but still a good signing Kozak has done ok and scored 4 goals. Should improve in time. so decent signing Bacuna - has pace and scored a couple of goals and will be a decent signing Bennett - don't know Luna - way off Premier League standard at the moment Tonev same as Luna Okore - don't know Helenius - don't know Bowery - you get what you pay for Sylla - not good enough.

Hard to point a finger at Weimann today. He fed off scraps. He created the goal. He runs around so much he just runs out of steam. Nobody can fault him for effort.

I thought the centre backs did very well containing their big threat Bony. The big problem problem, once again is the fall backs. The midfield aren't doing enough covering when we make clearances. Players like Westwood and Clark are guilty of pumping the ball upfield too often. We merely invite pressure upon ourselves that can be alleviated by taking an extra touch and looking for the man out wide or in the middle. In fairness they are left with no other options.

Agree, some of the bowling from Broad and Anderson was appalling. Why they were bowling short to a number 11 I have no idea. The less said about the batting the better, 86-1 to 179 all out.
