Yes he was on about medals being something a player can look back upon so obviously he does care about winning the FA Cup but realistically he will be judged on making progress in the league not how well we do in the cup.

Yep, I've mentioned it quite a few times in this very thread. It's the second part of Sion Sono's 'Hate' trilogy and is absolutely sublime imo. Oh thanks i will check the other two out.

Winning the FA Cup used to be as big as winning the league! Its ashame how this great competion has been devalued. As least the way it is now the smaller clubs have more chance of winning it. We have such a crap record in it since 57. Final once, a couple of semis and i think thats it. Rubbish for a club of our size.

Going by that Lambert interview i think Benteke will play just to get some more game time and match fitness in.

I wonder whether he didn't come to us because of the financial restrictions in place at our club. Maybe he's been promised a susbtantial amount of money in the transfer market. He is a breath of fresh air in the press conference. Very impressive.

sorry but you are wrong. The rule clearly states any part of the Head, body or feet is nearer to the goaline than the 2nd last defender including goalkeepr, so he was offside. -
4 away wins this season is very good. We just need to get our home form right.

Yeah and the 20 secs of analysis centred solely on the disallowed goal. He was off just, by mm's but he's off. Great decision. yes how can they say he was level when he was marginally ahead. Those two are pretty poor analysers! -
Don't think Young's was a dive but the kid's certainly was Young definitely dived. Cheating clearing in the woods left his leg in and knew exactly what he was doing, so glad the ref didn't buy it. Should have been carded though. ok but i don't know how he could have avoided the goalie. He chipped the ball and fell over the goalkeeper... No penalty but no yellow card for me. Young has a reputation for diving but not in this case. Just seen it again on MOTD and I think you are correct. Definite pen, not a dive. Thanks

He was in the team that won at Arsenal. I'd stick with the players that played today. Clark for Baker! We can flood the midfield but they are going to kill us there anyway!

Wasn't great finish alright though I wouldn't say woeful as words like that can only be used for shot Weinman took on 60 mins. Minded me of that advertisement were peter k booted over the fence. Weiman's shot was much more difficult.

Yes it was poor composure and if Sunderland have of scored we'd all be talking about that miss! We have to be more clinical, put the game to bed .

I wouldn't be so sure about Spurs, they are playing well at the moment but I wouldn't be so sure about Sherwood being the man to lead them full time. He probably isn't long term but I think they will do better in the 2nd half of the season. Don't know if it wil be enough to get them top 4. I think Liverpool will finish 4th as long as Suarez remains fit
