An all Swiss final would be good. I think it was too much to expect Murray to win this tournament after the back op and not much match practice. Federer is really playing well! Nadal has stuggled his way through a iittle bit but he has the beating of Federer these days, but i'm hoping Federer can beat him. Wrawinka's big game was Djokovic and often these players don't turn up at the next round. Hope he does. If he plays like he did against Djokovic he can beat anybody but if he meets Nadal in the final he's never taken a set off him in his career.

I prefer the taste of coffee. I used to have a large americarno at Costa everyday but it was making me very anxious. I read Costa have more caffeine in their shots of expresso than other coffee outlets like Starbucks. So i go there now but just have a small one. I drink quite a lot of tea but mix up normal black tea, which i prefer Yorkshire tea, and green tea, as well as twinings flavoured tea, of which my fav is lemon and ginger. However there's nothing like a cup of Bovril at Villa Park, not!

The Liverpool performance should give us confidence but i could never safely predict a home win for us.

I think West Ham spent all their money in the summer on Carroll and Downing. They are relying almost solely on Carroll to get them out of trouble!

Quality of the players in Fulham is deceiving, same as us in McLeish season. Unless miracles happen they are gonna be one of the relegated teams. Yes agree about Fulham. I think West Brom will be ok.

He was a bit of a utility player wasn't he. I think he played up front against Spurs at white hart lane when we won 4-1. One of my favourite games that because we spoilt the Argentina show!

If he stayed up Suarez.. with the form he has been in would have probably found a way to get it past Brad. Who knows really. Brad did the best he could. Suarez is bloody quick.. dont have much time to make a decision in that scenario. Very that's very true.

yes agree and the talk about him not being bothered since he got his new contract, and not being fit. He hasn't had a good season so far but I'm hoping that saturday will be his catalyst.

I can't agree about Ashley Young being overrated. I think Ian Taylor was a little overrated by the fans. Yes a loyal player and a decent player but when people start naming him as an all-time great when we have had so many richly talented footballers I think its going too far!

I think Withe, Morley, Swain all got games for England after we won the league. In 82 we actually had a poor season in the league. and English teams were winning the European Cup every year. Look at Forest, they won it twice, yet how many of their players got in the England side. It was a disgrace that that Gary Shaw never got picked in 82. Peter Withe was looked upon as a step backwards. Big old-fashioned centre forward thing! I think there was a lot of Liverpool bias as well! Was Phil Neal the right back? Swain was definately quicker and better than him! Cowans was unlucky but it was Brian Robson and Glen Hoddle and of course we had to have Trevor Brooking in there.

I'd go for Gidman Mcgrath Evans Aitkin Reserve Swain McNaught Southgate Gibson.

So yes he should get the best ever left back spot,.Still can't decide between Gidman and Swain though, but I also could never decide between Gray and Withe for best centre forward! Gerry Hitchins left both Andy Gray and Peter Withe far behind when it came to being a centre forward. ok

Opinions seem divided on here about his performance. I thought he did ok, no better, no worse. He is just lacking a bit of fitness. Could be useful as a sub but not a starter!

Swansea have some winnable games coming up! Don't think they will go down. Its really a tough call to pick three teams this year. I think Sunderland have improved under Poyet and will stay up! Fulham are an ageing side without the neccessary fight so they will go! West Ham I'm not sure about! I think Palace will go! Not enough ability in their squad. Maybe Cardff are the other one. Palace Cardiff Fulham

The most underated and unsung hero award should go to Des Bremner. Didn't look much on the ball, but did all the donkey work and allowed players like Cowans and Mortimer to express themselves. When i read the title of the thread his was the first name that came into my head so has to be right.
