  1. Both players are hardly Championship quality. It's amazing that a Premier League team has them as a regular pairing. I think thats harsh. Clark has been good this season.
  2. He was our best player under Houllier but has done nothing since he's left
  3. It shows how good we were at Liverpool. Arsenal just haven't turned up!
  4. I kind of think the opposite with OGS. With Mackay I think Cardiff would have been safe.
  5. I think Robbie Savage has got it right Norwich Fulham Cardiff although i agree Palace could be in trouble but Pullis is a good manager and i think he will see them ok.
  6. has to be my favourite all time comedy, although i tired of that episode. I love the cycle race to Berwick and the night before Bobs wedding when they ended up in a launderette and prison.
  7. All comedies age because they reflect the time they were made but they are still very watchable. I thought Only fools and horses was better early on with the grandad Leonard Pearce in! Seinfeld i haven't watched in 10 years but i liked it and the only other US sitcom i like is the big bang theory. Of course i know we are not talking about what we like. Programmes that have dated ... Time Tunnel, land of the giants, the equaliser which i used to love.
  8. I am quite pleased he has been actually, but there will always be this slur on him which is the unfortunate thing about it being in the public domain.
  9. I agree with you Veloman. He is an exceptional talent but his record since returning to the side hasn't been very good and he is a disruptive influence and not a team player. I'm delighted Moeen Ali has got the call up. I have been watching him play since he was a 16 yr old coming through the Warwickshire academy and he's the most naturally gifted batsman i have ever seen. Class batsman! and his bowling has come on since he's learnt a few tricks from Ajmal.
  10. Good news about Gabby. West Ham is one game we should get away without having Vlaar.Maybe go 4-3-3 with Lowton at RB and Bacuna in midfield
  11. and Martinez before Rodgers! Its interesting that Rodgers thought it was totally wrong for Cardiff to sack Mackay but Swansea were right to sack Laudrup. Its very harsh on Laudrup. One bad spell and he goes. its a good job our chairman isn't so over-reactive!
  12. So Carlton Cole then Don't like the over confidence on here. Remember we will probably be without Gabby and Vlaar. West Ham will revert to 14th century football and park the bus and we can't break teams down who defend deep. Most of our victories come against teams who play a high line,
  13. Yes but if they come out of those games close to the top they will win it,. Liverpool is a tough one to call. We should have won there! They should beat united and Spurs. Maybe get a point each against Chelsea, city and everton. They need a full squad. Ramsey, Flamini and Wilshere back.
  14. My first game at Villa park as a little kid was the derby game 1969 and i stood at the front of the witton end and my only memory from tat game apart from the winner by Dave Simmons was a header from Tony Hateley for Blues which thudded against the cross bar. The power he got into that header was unbelievable.
  15. Milner and Barry central midfield god help us!
  16. and its noticeble that when he plays West Ham get results. They got a point at Chelsea so this is no easy game.
  17. It is, and people wonder why we are stuck as midtable also rans. God it's sad to see a great sport like football ruined by money. Great win for chelsea and fully deserved. I still think its between City and Chelsea for the title though, Arsenal will fall away. As for the FA cup replays? Yes City and Chelsea are the favourites but people have been writing Arsenal off all season and they are still 2 pts clear. The Ox scoring two goals sunday is massive for Wenger with the long-term injuries to Ramsey and Walcott.
  18. So does Willian! Mourinho annoys me but they made City look a shadow of what we've seen this season. None of their players had a good game, due pretty much entirely to Chelsea. Nobody better on the pitch than Hazard though!
  19. That has opened up the title race a bit. Chelsea by far the better side.
  20. Chelsea should be at least 2 up at half time. Hazard has been brilliant
  21. Doesn't look like Carroll did anything wrong to me but maybe i'm missing something.
  22. Sad news. One of my favourite actors. Magnolia, 25th Hour, Happiness come to mind.
