  1. Everything about his game was good today and the first goal was top class.
  2. Can only be one motm. Great win. The first goal was special. Dull second half, but oh well that doesn't matter.
  3. He's got an axe to grind!
  4. I was in tears.... of laughter. Thought it was tripe. Hipster fodder. WHAT?!?! 'Her' is far from tripe...easily the most innovative, beautifully made film ive seen in years. Maybe transformers is more up your street...I jest but still your wrong, wrong, WRONG. I agree with that. The best film I've seen in a while.
  5. I hope he doesn't but if he does Albrighton has to play!
  6. Me too, I'd rather they win it than City or Chelsea and love him or loathe him Suarez is the best player in the league. Scores one. sets up one and wins a penalty.
  7. England blow it again. Decent debut from Moeen.
  8. Maybe! He makes some very interesting points but sounds like a bitter man to me. For me, HairyHands was a total Lambert apologist, as well as being somewhere in the Lambert "magic circle"and Howard H, despite sharing his initials, doesn't sound like he's been too pally with PL for a while. Yes that's very true. Really can't be the same person!
  9. Thats 40k x 90k a year. Whats that 360mil or is my maths wrong?

  11. Thats true he would become a martyr and they would use it against us but on the other-hand 45 years in jail cost us taxpayers a lot of money.
  12. can they downgrade the charge? actually just came across this "The charges brought against Pistorius are likely to cause controversy. The nature of South African law does not allow for a charge of manslaughter or accidental killing, as one would understand it in the United States and Europe. The State has opted to charge Pistorius with what they refer to as “the highest level” of murder charge, which means that they need to prove that his killing of Ms Steenkamp was pre-meditated and planned in advance. No information in the public domain indicates any evidence of such planning exists. There exists the possibility, then, that Pistorius could be found not guilty on the basis that the charges brought against him have not been proven to the satisfaction of the court." The pre-medication and planned in advance may be difficult to prove. If they don't prove that he goes free... Rediculous! I don;t think he planned it he just did it in the heat of the moment. i thought that was the law in the UK too... if you stand trial for murder then they cant turn round and try and pin manslaughter on you half way through the case when it doesn't seem like you'll be found guilty, i know in the states they have the degree system of murder, i think he'll get away with it because they are pushing for the higher charge, whereas if they went for manslaughter it would be a no brainer might need to watch double jeopardy again to get my facts right on the legal system and murder cases... Ashley Judd! You can't be tried for the same murder twice. I think they have changed the double jeopardy law since. In England anyway! In South Africa The bill of rights forbids a retrial where there has been a conviction or an aquittal.
  13. The young kid who was responsible for the Boston marathon bomb will get the death penalty. I'm not in agreement with the death penalty but maybe in acts of terrorism then there could be an exception. I don't know!
  14. No and Adebowale could be out at the age of 67

  16. I don't find that abnormal behaviour even, I would imagine there are plenty of women who do that even in their own home Of course they can prove which shot was fatal, they probably find it much harder to prove which shot was first though How do you know Pistorious checked if the bathroom was locked? It is already accepted that he didn't have his legs on so the chances are that it is unlikely If a burglar was in the act of escaping, he may well lock a bathroom door. were there any windows in the bathroom? Its all so long ago that I've forgotten most of it. I don't think there were any windows in the bathroom. He heard a noise he got up and didn't notice whether or not his girlfriend was in the bed next to him. He went to the bathroom and fired 4 shots. He either murdered the so called intruder or his girlfriend. There must be some way of proving the order of shots. They can do a reconstruction of what happened. i know things are different in south africa but I think he knew what he was doing, then did his best to cover it up. He's a national hero so will probably get off with manslaughter whilst the poor girl is dead and her family get little justice.
  17. Yes i don't like this thread but if we were to get relegated and I don't think we will then I would expect us to come straight back up just as we did in the late 80s. We are nowhere near as bad as we were then.
  18. Too late to sack Moyes this season really. They are not going to qualify for for next years champions league and they were never going to win this years! They could still come back from 2-0 but Bayern, Madrid and Barcelona would all stuff them.
  19. Are all the English sides going to loose 2-0 in the first leg.
  20. He always does well when he comes off the bench so I wouldn't sell him! He's only 22 and will improve! Its difficult to get good strikers in. suttonPaul suggested we should take a bid of 5 mil but that would get you nothing these days.
  21. PaulC

    Joe Bennett

He's probably better than Luna isn't he?
  22. I think the problem is he keeps being shifted around. He proved he can play by his performance at a top side like Liverpool.
  23. Yes but theres plenty of fullbacks around as good as Bertland if we are prepared to pay the right price.
