I don't think we have played well. united are there for the taking. Compare this to the way we played at Liverpool its totally different. I admit now that KEA is a big loss.
well 95% but yes I agree with CrackpotForeigner the % is not important we need to do something about it and as Govts are now more concerned about money its unlikely much will be done until its too late.
I just think that whilst Westwood and Delph are irreplaceable as we have no one else who can do their jobs, we can surely find someone who can run around, and put pressure on and tackle. Even Sylla can do that. He may not be as good at it but he can do it. He played in a lot of the games at the backend of last season instead of KEA.
That was truly dreafull from England. Ok the third umpire got it wrong with Jawardene's first ball but to bowl as crap as we did and to drop 4 catches is unforgiveable. Jawardene is a class act and 2 hours to bowl 20 overs is a total joke. In English t20 you get 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Good to know another Warwickshire player is a villa fan. That makes Bell, Woakes and Ateeq
Clarke, Trott are spurs, Troughton Man U,, Westwood, Blues.
Yes I agree. I can't see us beating Sri Lanka. I see them as one of the favs. Important to win the toss and bowl first because of the dew. Sri Lanka's bowling with the exception of Malinga is pretty crap. Everybody should be able to play Mendis by now
So why does he look so bad now? His basic defensive skills weren't even there yesterday. Plus between that era he'd be in his prime, McGrath performances never let up in his late 30's.
I think McGrath had pretty good players around him at the backend of his career with Southgate and Ehiogu. The united back 4 as a unit are really poor, not just Ferdinand. Even with Vidic in they are the same.
yeah im one of i guess many who had never heard of him before unlocking him on pro evo and seeing that he had crazy stats
theres a good documentary about him but i cant remember what its called, i can remember the scenes at his funeral with thousands lining the road, might be this one, if its not then i might watch this one tonight anyway...
Thats the documentary I watched. Very good, well worth watching. Pele was the clean living perfect role Model and Garincha was like a George Best.
really? Im sure teams would bite our hand if we said he was available for that much. and mediocre?
if being 13th highest scorer in injury hit season is mediocre then ill take that all day long
Yes he's shown what he's capable of in the last few games and he performed well against Chelsea and that doesn't get unnoticed
I think the most interesting world cup player was the Brazillian Garrincha, the king of dribbling, who is often overshadowed by Pele but he won two world cups in 58 and 62 and in 62 Pele was injured and he won it on his own.
Sorry this has nothing to do with the title of the thread but he might figure in one of them.
