  1. He must have done a lot of fibbing since then!
  2. Good idea as they play a high pressing game there's a chance to get in behind them. That is the team i would go for. Clark maybe for Baker but not much in it really!
  3. All very exciting. More pressure on us staying up now!
  4. I think our nerves will be settled with a win. Southampton are comfortable, nothing really to play for and we should be highly motivated. 2-0 Villa.
  5. In fairness Paul, I don't think he and Andy Gray were given a choice due to their fall out with Ron Saunders. Yes never really knew what went on there. Also Brian Little would have joined Blues but for a failed medical. That was when the sold Francis i think. Guess Saunders wasn't easy to get along with.
  6. Shame he left us. Probably why i wouldn't put him on my all-time great list. Guess he was a scouse at heart!
  7. Yes Gidman was released by Liverpool as a teenager. Called into Shankley's office " "We’re releasing yer. ‘Son, yer s***’ – I’ll always remember how he said it." He got his revenge in the youth cup final of 72.
  8. I'll support England of course but I just don't want Spain to win it.
  9. I wonder how much he is being paid! villa4europe: There's other things like not noticing Reeva had left the bedroom to go to the bathroom while he was moving fans etc in the room even if it was pitch black. The probability of everything all the things being true regarding Pistorius's version of events is so small I can't see how the judge can give anything else than a guilty verdict. I said at the end of last week that Roux has to come up with some good witnesses to turn this around and Nel has cast enough doubts about his first one Dixon so not a good start for the defence.
  10. in the current climate i think its more about his determination to get that goal, could easily have stopped running after the push (ronaldo) or gone down with bartra snapping at his heels in the box (suarez) i really think there arent many players who would (rather than could) have scored that goal, speed, honesty, control, strength, composure, it was a great goal Yep theres very few players around who could score a goal like that to be fair. At his best Gabby could have scored that though.
  11. Haven't followed it so much this week but if you say the last couple of days have gone against him then he's in even bigger trouble as his 5 days in the stand was a total disaster for him.
  12. Weimann also contributed at Liverpool with an outstanding performance and goal and scored the winner against City. How vital could that prove. I know its not enough but neither is Gabby's few decent performances.
  13. Don't know how they can possibly meet the ffp regulations. Higher than any other club in any sport, unbelievable.
  14. and you can't say the same for Gabby. Thats why I'd rather Weimann play than him.
  15. 2-0 Palace, no surprise they have been the better side by miles.
  16. From my Villa watching day's Alex Cropley was a brilliant player as well until he broke his leg against the Baggies Yes I can still hear the crack now. Bloody Ally Brown. Great player and he could have only been about 7 stone. Yep Cropley was a great player but still not a patch on Sid. I was sitting in the Trinity Road that day and I remember the gasps around me when it happened. I remember the first league cup final at wembley against Everton which ended in a dissapointing 0-0 but Cropley was still a class apart from anything on the pitch. Yes not as good as Cowans but his career was curtailed early so hard to judge.
  17. He should certainly start ahead of Gabby. Let him play off Holt he at least will make the runs. His confidence is low but he was very unlucky not to score against Palace. The keeper saved it. He should have buried it, end of. He is shit can we stop, making excuses for these dick heads Out of order! But true. (and a little bit funny). The owner and manager may be at fault for some things, confidence may well be low, but just stick the ball in the net every now and then please. I've no sympathy. Holt Andi and Gabby earn more in a month than most people's houses are worth. Confidence low? That £30k per week should ease the pain. I'm a lawyer and I only get paid if I win a case. I can't afford to let my confidence, the alignment of the stars or the colour of my underwear affect my performance. I bet if they weren't paid unless they scored they'd bloody fight tooth and nail to put the ball in the net. Belt up and put the ball in the net because we've all had enough. No its neither true or funny. Ok he's had a poor season but he's still only 22.

  19. Yes I think its between Brian Little, Gary Shaw and Sid Cowans as my greatest. I know many say Paul Mcgrath but I'd still have those ahead of him.

I could use xp but not sure which version of dreamweaver i would have to use. Certainly wouldn't be able to use cc with all its added support for flexible designs.
