A comment like that won't go down well on VT. It's probably worse then saying I want Liverpool to win the league because their fans are amazing and don't have a sense of entitlement. I'm sure theres more than just me on here that think the same.

He did what he did because of the limited resources available. Against Liverpool we had Gabby and Benteke. Against Man City we had Bowery and that is no disrespect to Bowery.

What Lambert said was correct. A club the size of Villa shouldn't be so stretched when they have a few injuries. It was good to see Grealish come on the pitch but it probably wasn't the game you would want to make your debut. I don't give Man City any credit in winning the title. Any club that has spent the amount of money they have should win it. The fact that they haven't won it easier is more suprising. Its very bad for our game that this.. It doesn't happen in the NFL. FFP penalties are rediculous. What is the point of folllowing football when there is no hope of getting in the champions league unless you get massive investment.

Very disciplined performance. Took Man City until injury time to create a proper chance. Weimann maybe could have been a bit more composed when he had that run... But really hard to knock what we have done first half.

My first thoughts when hearing this is what a terrible idea. Its going to have drastic effect on clubs in the lower divisions. Premier League won't be loaning any players out to them as well and it will benefit the bigger clubs....Will it help the England team? Not sure really!

I'm not sure Ronaldo could do what Maradona did winning the world cup in 86 virtually single-handedly... He's the greatest ever in my opinion. If Ronaldo can win a world cup for Portugal then I'd rate him alongside him.
