This competition did matter as its one of only two things we have a chance of winning. We can enjoy our annual fight against relegation but the cups are the only relief we have..... Our home form is still a major worry... -

Tredwell did well. Not sure about Patel. If you cant look after your weight then are you worthy of an England place. Woakes was the pick of the seamers. it was only that one over that went for 20. but 4 for 52 is good anyway.

If he did that deliberately he should not only have his points taken off him for the race but be banned for at least 3 more races. If theres no proof of Hamilton's allegations its at least wreckless driving and what is the punishment for that?

I haven't watched him that much. He did ok in the world cup but was nothing fantastic. 75 mil is way over the odds in my opninion. But thats what united will have to pay to get quality players.

True but Weimann is more of a natural goal scorer.

The season has just started, he doesn't need a rest for any reason....If the manager doesn't think he's worth his place then he should drop him but I think he needs to be given a good run down the middle.

He has scored our only goal this season so without him we would be two points worse off.

You can't judge a manager after two games though.

You always seem to be a better player when you are injured, but yes he did well last season and it will be good to have him back.
