Yes probably between 8 and 10 mill. Not a top 4 player though but is one of the first names on our team sheet for me.

Yes and Read dropped him but still some serious hitting from Stokes. You put that type of pressure on bowlers and their lengths stray.

yes I can see what you mean. I'm sure most of us wern't too enamoured with the signings with the possible exception of Sanchez but it might turn out to be our best transfer window under Lambert yet.

What about Evans? I don't go with this media fest about Bopara. He has played over 100 odis and still not nailed his place and he failed to produce against Warwicks in the t20 quarter and the 50 over quarter....

Quite. I'll judge him on performances on the pitch for us not what has gone before at United, what some talking heads on Talksport come out with or any of the various dubious rumours and claims being repeated as if they are factual. I can't wait for the international break to be over and for us to get back to playing games. Me too, I am fascinated how he's going to fit in and what system we play.

Wonder why the selectors are so stubborn. Its obvious we have the wrong team out there. Cook being a prime example of a player who is not cut out for one day cricket yet because he's the test captain he's got to be the odi captain. Surely they have to change it after the series ends. I just think we only care about the ashes and nothing else.

Welbeck a bit light Weimann rarely plays as a central striker. He will for Arsenal and with players like Ozil and Ramsey who can thread balls through, watch him go! Excellent signing and 16 mil is a bargain.

The last thing they need is more competition in midfield. Its at the back and up front where they are weak. He's world class and would be the main man. He wouldn't be 'competition' he'd be the first name on the teamsheet. They already have world class midfield players in Ramsey and Ozil. Anyway midfield is their strong area. They created an abundance of chances today.
