  1. Good first half. Should be two up really. I'm just waiting for the on-slaught second half. I hope we can hold firm. I'm worried Richardson is a bit weak in possession.
  2. This is the first game really where our new solid back four will be properly tested. I worry about the pace of Sterling.
  3. In my opinion the problem with having just one person giving the verdict is that, as hard as you might try, it is impossible to be completely impartial. You will always have an overriding feeling, one way or the other. Juryies aren't perfect but they normally work out the right verdict which in this case, in my opinion the judge hasn't. Forget the witchhunt, my reasons for believing his guilty of murdering his girlfriend are that I don't believe he got out of bed after hearing a noise and then did what he said in his testimony before picking his gun and going into the corridor before shooting four shots through the toilet door, without knowing his girlfriend was not in there bed still. Theres no way he would think she was still in the bed..... I believe any unbiased jury would have found him guilty on that point alone.
  4. The verdict in this case is a great advert for trial by jury.
  5. I think you needed to have followed the case all the way through to come up with those conclusions. The bail is no surprise either as he had bail up until the verdict anyway so not much has changed apart from him selling his property since he was originally given bail.
  6. Given where Liverpool finished last season and how much they have spent in the summer no way can anyone think we will go there and win, however i think we may sneak a draw.
  7. Moeen should have grabbed a 4 for but dropped a simple caught and bowled off Ansari the previous over. Hats off to Shantry. He doesn't look much, and bowls of the wrong foot but keeps getting wickets. and that 100 gave Worcester something to bowl at. Two easy wins for Warwickshire next season now
  8. Are we going to go with the same side that played against Hull or might Cleverley come in for Nzog or Richardson.
  9. yet the BBC state its a maximum of 15 years and suggest he will get between 7 and 10. Can the charge being in possession of illegal firearms be added on to this sentence? He's not going to get off with just a suspended sentence.
  10. By what the judge has said after the lunch break it does seem like Culpable homicide will be the verdict but there are other charges like carrying illegal firearms which has a max sentance of 15 years...
  11. In fairness Yorkshire beat us twice so fully deserve to win the title. 2nd and winning both one day cups will be great.
  12. Having followed the trial I can't see how he didn't intend to kill her. What's he going to get 8 years max?
  13. Already got mine, 1st day of the third test, 2nd tier of the pavilion at Edgbaston. Will be getting down to Edgbaston tomorrow about 1ish after i've picked my car up. Hopefully spend the afternoon watching us bowl them out! The feeling is we will make 600 and then declare so maybe about half an hour after lunch we'll get them in again. I have feeling it could be all over tomorrow
  14. Was at Edgbaston this afternoon. It was a pleasure to witness the partnership between Hain and Trott. Young Sam is possibly the best young player that we have ever had, some of his offiside shots were class.. Obviously Amiss and Bell were up there but I reckon Sam might surpass both their test records.
  15. A win is a win and with Bosnia losing its a good night for Wales. Ransey going off injured must be a concern to Wales and Arsenal.
  16. Its hard to imagine we will do as well there as we did last season. Anfield is a bit of a fortress. If we get anything it will be a marvelous result.
  17. He's the best crosser out of the three
  18. Wasn't 15 degrees decided upon for Murali. No idea why they came up with that number! I don't think you should be able to come in and chuck the ball like in baseball but there should be more allowance than a 15 degree straightening of the arm.
  19. As long as they bowl overarm who cares? Malinga throws the ball and is allowed to play! The ICC have a whole heap of important things to do than banning someone because his action isn't perfect. Yes Malinga has the most round arm action ever
  20. Not sure maybe 30 degrees. what do you think?
  21. Yes but everything is in the batsmens favour. A right handed batsman is allowed to switch hands and play as if a lefthander. I agree they have now taken the doosra out of the game. You can't bowl it with a straight arm at any pace.
