Don't look thin to me but there again.

Sanchez and Welbeck are the two players I worry about. i think we can match their midfield and expose them on the counter attack but we haven't a lot of pace at the back and those two player plus Ramsey's runs could cause us problems..

Wow this is a big turnaround from the end of last season when nearly everybody on here expected or wanted him gone... Its a real positive move to give him a long term contract.

He's done very well. I thought he was really good when he had the loan spell at West Brom, when they avoided relegation under Brian Robson but his career hasn't kicked on. Hopefully he will have a good twilight to his career with us.

Wilshere had a superb game against Man City, with Ramsey, Sanchez, Ozil to contend with our midfield will have to be as strong and disciplined as they were at anfield. We may sneak a draw.

Nice to hear him get some praise on MOTD2 extra. Jonathon Pearce saying he could be the next Villa player to get called up for England. Probably more suited to playing at the base of the diamond than wilshere who should play a more advanced role like he does for Arsenal.
