  1. unless you never watch BBC1/BBC2 or listen to BBC Radio. I basically only watch American series, films. with a bit of E4, ITV2, CH4, More4, music channels, and sports. MOTD & Top Gear may be the only 2 interactions with the BBC i ever have, both watched on catch-up (never live). i really shouldn't bother having a tv licence should i? Yes. It is irrelevant how frequently you watch it, you watch it and that requires a license. It is like saying you don't need car insurance because you only drive now and then. Yes I know the two things are vastly different but the principle is the same, its a requirement for accessing the service so regardless of how frequently you access it then yes you should have to pay. What I am against its the lack of choice. If you choose to only watch the other channels and not BBC then you shouldn't be forced to pay a license fee. Basically if you buy a tv you are required to give your address and the tv licensing people will come after you. I'm not saying the BBC don't offer a good service but its a bit of an outdated institution going back to the days when you could only get BBC and ITV.
  2. no it always ask you if you have a license when you are watching live tv but not on catchup.
  3. Amended. Another reason to be over the moon that I get forced to pay money towards an organisation I neither want, need or like. To to be fair, no one is forcing you. Get Netflix and Amazon Prime, use catch up TV for everything else and ditch your license. Of you really want to make a stand, it's not that hard. You could then watch Top Gear on catch up TV, whilst basking in the glow of satisfaction, knowing you are not helping to pay Clarksons wages. Yes how often are films and tv programmes added to netflix and Amazon Prime?
  4. Yes I agree but Dembele cost spurs 15 mil, so doubt whether we'd get him for 8 or less.
  5. I know QPR are poor but this looks a decent West Ham team
  6. I know you're not a fan Rotterdam 1982 but I think if you look hard enough at any player you can find faults.
  7. He was one player that really impressed me yesterday for us. He's prepared to take players on and if he can just look up and play the right ball he will be a great asett for us this season.
  8. He works hard for the team. Hasn't offered much going foward yet though.
  9. Really, we could have conceded 6 yesterday. Man. City probably could score 6 against pretty much all teams they play in the league bar Chelsea. true but we are playing more defensively this season than last. We have probably created the lowest amount of chances out of anybody in the league. Our defence should be better and thats not just because the back 4 are better.
  10. Really thats terrible could have blinded the man
  11. Downing is superb. Such a good passer of the ball.
  12. I think we have seen the Premier League winners today. Fabregas, Hazard and Costa all exceptional.

Early days yet but I don't think they will challenging for 4th spot this season. Barry, Piennar, Hibbert, all getting a bit old.
  14. To be fair they should have been level at half time. Poor first touch from wilshere cost him a great chance.
  15. Well worse player on the pitch is Ozil.
  16. Toure was very clever, he shot with his weaker foot with no backlift. Silva finds space between players. Hard to mark.
  17. Yes and with so many of their players out of form were we as good as we were last season against them...Our only threat came from Nzogbia..
  18. Really, we could have conceded 6 yesterday.
  19. Yes I agree but he did play the pass of the day for us..
  20. Better a thick word removed than a deluded thick word removed
  21. The fact we held on for so long was a miracle in itself. We had a little spell on the 2nd half but overall there was a gulf in class,
