I agree about Pellegrini but not Wenger. Arsenal always qualify from their group and its not that he's tactically naive, just that theres better sides around.
I rate him very highly but i blame neither the club nor the player. What decent player would want to stay at a club who are in limbo and only going one way at present. Seen it happen before in the 80s with Hodge and Mcmahon.

Are we really to blame for this. Delph has only become a key player in the last year or so. So when should we have got this new contract sorted, while he was still unproven. Its a tough one to take but neither party is to blame imo.
I have no sympathy at all for any of them. As Trent Villa said, they could just have stuck the money in the bank and be set for life, even though interest rates are crap at the moment, they weren't when the likes of Hendrie was playing.
Yes but even before he was injured he didn't perform on a consistent basis, but I hope he does come good because he's one of the very few players we have with any talent.
Thats what gets me. When we were in Europe last there was great atmospheres at VP. especially the ajax game. Is it because City have been bought success that the suppoeters dont get excited anymore
If he really had the ability to play for a 'top' team he would have been snapped up by one, it's as simple as that.
Yes because you're automatically not a top player if you don't play for a top team. That's never happened before. Downing went to a "top" team and failed. Zog has more talent in his fingernail than Downing.
Look I believe in and love Zog, VT doesn't and that won't change. But we always need a scapegoat. I would go as far as to say he's been our best player this season. Yet gets 90% of criticism.
Really have you seen the way Downing is performing at West Ham this season. Downing is a much maligned player. He has pace, vision, no little skill and is two footed. He was our best player by a mile in his final season with us. It just didn't work out at Liverpool for whatever reason...
He was brilliant at 17/18 until he got that terrible knee injury. Delph didn't come good until he was 23/24 so theres still time but its running out for him.
The odds on City were 1.32 in betfair exchange and I too lost my pot I had built up in there. I don't think yaya was the problem. He's the only one that tries to take players on. For me its players like Milner, Cliche, Nasri, Navas Jotevic that aren't good enough. Kompany, Tourre, and Aguero can't carry the rest of the players.
Not blaming the ref, I just think it was the wrong decision. City were terrible and deserved to loose. They could have lost by more. I know people love Milner because of his villa days, but were talking him up on sky, saying he is a great player but for me he's a defensive wideman. He has zero pace, limited ability and resembles a carthorse. In central midfield he was good for us i admit.
Sackho back for this game. With Valencia, Downing and Song, this is as tough a fixture as we could get. They turned Man City over. If we get anything out of this game it will be a huge bonus.
