  1. For me it all depends on whether or not we keep our three best players fit. Vlaar, Benteke and Delph. Without them for a large chunk for the remainder of the season we will get relegated.
  2. heard U2's new album today, not by choice mind but anyway what a load of shit. When was the last good album they did?
  3. Chelsea 2-0 West Brom Everton 1-1 West Ham Leicester1-1 Sunderland Man City 2-0 Swansea Newcastle 1-2 QPR Stoke 3-1 Burnley Arsenal 2-2Man Utd Crystal Palace 0-0 Liverpool Hull 1-2 Tottenham Aston Villa 1-1 Southampton
  4. Yes I think he would. Choice of Nzog or Maloney I'd go with Maloney
  5. Ok we'll agree to disagree on this Trent. All I know is that if I was convicted of rape and spent 2 and half years of my life in prison, had my career wrecked, on the sex offenders list for life and believed I was innocent I would do everything within my power to clear my name and that includes a website, Ok thats looking at it from his perspective. From hers I would just want all this to go away and be able to get on with my life.
  6. That really isn't what I said as I think you know but I guess it helps deflect away from the stuff from the victims father which shows your stance to be at best I'll informed. Ok but you are just looking at it from the victims point of view. If he genuinely believes he is innocent then he has every right to fight to clear his name. Is he doing all this to cause grief to the victim and her family or purely for himself. I'm not taking his side I am just looking at it from both points of view. Well, yes I am what with her being the victim and him being the convicted rapist and all. I have never argued he doesn't have the right to appeal or try (again) to clear his name, he has every right to do that. But he should do that via the proper channels, i.e. the Court of Appeal and not via a website campaign as he and his family/supporters have done. Because in doing so it is having an adverse affect on his victim as you would know if you had read the article I linked or the various other versions out there. I'm sorry but I see absolutely nothing to suggest you are seeing it from both points of view quite the opposite in fact. Evans has every right to try and clear his name but I personally believe he should do that via legal channels only and that he shouldn't be in the public spot light of football while he is in that process or indeed unless he is successful. I don't think he's the only person that has used a website to help their campaign for justice. I do see it from both sides. I understand that what he is doing is going to be upsetting for her and the family but he has a right to fight for justice for himself if he thinks his innocent in the best way he see fit.
  7. Why? This is their best side in years and years but they're still Scotland. Another good performance from England. IF (big IF) they reach their potential they could do things. A work progressing nicely. Yes theres a gulf in class between the sides and Scotland were probably tired after the Ireland game.
  8. He hasn't got involved enough!
  9. Good game, Wilshere and Clyne very good. Milner very poor.

  11. ok question, how pedantic. You always have to be right Trent! If its daft to think he should be allowed to play football again I apologise.
  12. None of us know whether her life is in ruins so how can you come out with such a statement? You know as well as I do that after a couple of games none of the media will be bothered. She doesn't have to read the local press! I don;t know what her life is like now and neither do you. You're just making assumptions!
  13. He hasn't got off scott free, as he's spent 21/2 years in prison. He has shown remorse but not admitted his guilt because it would jeopardise his appeal obviously. What happens if he wins his appeal. Can you give him back the last 2 and half years of his life and reimburse him what he would have earned by playing. In the Oscar Pistorious case I understand the victim thing but why should it matter to the victim in this instance whether Ched Evans plays football or not. The highly paid job has nothing to do with it. Surely Its better for him to be re-habiltated back into normal life by playing football and paying taxes than for him to sign on and getting jobseekers allowance.
  14. Yes and the North stand was called the witton end before. I think people should get off their high horse and give Ched Evans another chance. He served his time end of!
  15. PaulC

    Stan Petrov

Yes great to see him back playing and offering such great support to that lady who's husband died of cancer. very moving!
  16. I agree, I don't think all four of Rooney, Wellbeck, Sturridge and Sterling can play. I wasn't very impressed with Sterling against Slovenia and his form for Liverpool hasn't been great so he's the one to drop to the bench I think. Not sure that Henderson and Lallana are really good enough either.
  17. Gazza is the closes to the word great since Bobby Charlton but I wouldn't class anybody else as we never went any further than quarter finals in tournament and nobody has really excelled in a tournament. Linekar was a world class finisher.
  18. Yes I think it was really good of him to come in front of the crowd and explain that he couldn't play. I guess he could have and made his back worse but it wouldn't have been a match anyway so there was no real point in him risking serious injury over a game he couldn't win. He is 33 now and his body is breaking down.
  19. I disagree I think Origi is quick, and looked very sharp, the one flickon in the first half was brilliant. He's what 19. Great Prospect!
  20. He looked ok when he came on nothing more I thought
  21. Excellent point for Wales. Benteke nearly won it at the end.
  22. So Murray is playing an exhibition match with Dkokovic instead. Good on Murray!
