Its a tragic accident, however I don't think you can take the bouncers out of the game as it will become a very boring game without them. Batsmen are far better protected than they were 30 or 40 years ago. They can modify the head gear so the possibility of these accidents become less.

Well hopefully you are in good health and live to you are at least 80 so if we don't win another game by then I'm not sure what league we will be playing in lol

Yes there was one in particular to Hutton was top class. I think the midfield trio has a nice balance to it. We may not miss Delph as much as we feared.

There was one instance where Westwood played a lovely weighted pass and Hutton a fantastic cross to the far post and Gabby failed to get on the end of it. Benteke would almost certainly have scored. excellent performance.

Does that mean he will be dropped next week? You're not allowed to play positive in a Lambert team. I think he will stay in. Lambert has to make the choice of dropping either Gabby or Weimann.

Yes I agree as Gabby has been playing up top , So its a straight swap Bolasie is a major threat. A real test for Hutton!

I was wrong I think he will be a big asset to the club. Hope he stays fit and stays in the starting lineup. Big decision next week is who we leave out for Benteke. Maybe Gabby!

disagree i thought the midfield was good and Westwood played one ball to Hutton which was as good as anything you would see

We looked in complete control then another defensive error costs us and in the end we could easily have lost. Cole was a big positive.

I thought he was brilliant in 'the believer', lars and the real girl and half nelson but now i just can't watch his films

Me too I haven't watched inception but I have Drive and I was hugely dissappointed in it and Gosling's performance. I accept we all think differently but I thought Gosling played the same character he did in Stay and compared to his earlier work it was crap.

Disagree - I think our defence is pretty good, our strikers are pretty good and our midfield is ok but lacks creativity badly. It's just the way we setup or, rather, don't press/push on up the pitch that is the major problem. The gap between our midfield and attack is huge. An absolute gulf. I think our defence is only ok because we are so defensive minded.

He had a chance just the other day, just as he has had a chance many times before that. He comes on and doesn't do anything. Well you can't expect much from a player when he gets a few minutes here and there. His goalscoring record was as good as anybodys until Lambert became manager.

I can understand Bent's frustation. The team can't score goals and he still doesn't get a chance! Lambert has screwed his career up. Hope it goes well for him at Brighton. He just wants to play football so how does that make him bitter!

No excuses really, 6 goals is a woeful return for this stage of the season. We don't create many because we have one method of playing.

A bit ott. I think the premiere league is fine. Chelsea are as good a team as we have seen for a long time. We've lost Suarez and Bale but Bale was utter garbage last night. Are we judging the Premier League on how shit villa are? This is the worst Villa team since the Premier League began in my view.
