Yes its amazing the difference a season makes. Last season with Everton challenging for a top 4 spot we were miles away from them, now we are above them in the table and their squad looks very old so maybe we wouldn't be any less attractive than Everton.
They have problems in defence and defensive midfield but theres really only Chelsea and Man City who are better than them. United got lucky against them and Southampton tonight..
I thought we actually played our best in the first 20 minutes when Westwood was pulling the strings. He can't do what Westwood does. Sanchez will have to play defensive midfield.
In fairness he has come out and admitted that they should have lost by more than 4 goals. He's come in and tried to make them tougher to beat but that will only get you so far! I personally wouldn't want him at Villa. It did a good job at Everton though as is now being proven with Martinez struggling in his second season. Guess its harder when you are in Europe but the squad he has is very old now and its showing.
Personally I think they will still make the top 4. The squad is too good not to and they have been in this situation many times before but always come strong second half of the season. Man U will replace Liverpool and maybe get 3rd. Who else is there realistically to replace Arsenal in the top 4? Dads Army Everton not a chance! Spurs no chance! West Ham could make top 6 maybe!
