    Yes the top 4 is pretty predictable now unless Liverpool have a great second half of the season.

    Before we blamed the other players for not crossing the ball to him but his lack of anticipation was there to see and he should have scored at teh death but took his eye off the ball. Yes he was clattered by the goalkeeper but he should have scored.

    The control from that high pass was exceptional and really Benteke has to do more to get on the end of the cross. Grealish was brilliant. Very impressed.

    Regarding the red card, it was an ott tackle so I can see why it was given. Many refs would have just given a yellow though so its the lack of consistency with refs thats the problem.

    Sanchez was magnificent, but I gave the motm to Grealish who showed his class. Very dissapointed with Benteke. He should have won that match at the death.

    My apologies Belgium guy, my post wasn't directed at you anyway. I appreciate you are a Benteke fan firstly and I think if he did spend his career with us he would end up as a legend, but I realise he is destined for greater things.

    Absolutely, our club is steeped in history. We may not be in the best place right now but we have had better players than Benteke in our past. I'm not saying he's not good, he is but when compared to Little, Shaw, Gray, Withe, Cowans, Platt, Mgrath and Yorke. He hasn't reached their level yet. So it annoys me too when people say somebody is too good for us.

    The issue is in the present, not the past. I'd assume Bacuna was smiling because he knew he'd made the right decision - irrespective of Benteke being a bellend. He displayed similar petulance when Grealish failed to find him against Swansea by the way. It's an issue because it's current - not in the past. It looks like he's starting to think he's too good for the club... To be fair, he is too good for the club.. Sorry but nobody is too good for Aston Villa.

    I think he is slightly overrated by some of us. No doubting his huge talent but whether he's good enough for Chelsea, Real Madrid or Barcelona is another question. We talk about him scoring more with better players but 6 goals in 20 internationals when he has the likes of Hazard and De Bruyne is not great. Right now he wouldn't be first choice in Chelsea, Man U, Man City or maybe even Arsenal sides.

    If you play 3 at the back and 2 wing backs theres no need for Grealish to do much defending then. I don't know if he's ready but the only way we'll find out is by giving him a go.

    Maybe I'm wrong but I figure the only people that voted for Guzan are the ones too young to remember Bosnich. Lets be honest Guzan is not in the top 5 Premier League keepers right now.

    If he goes with a back three then Lowton should play not Hutton. Hutton was crap at wingback in the first half at Swansea. Maybe even Bacuna. Like Va Gaal said yesterday about Ashley Young. If you play a back three you dont want defenders playing at wing back. Hence why Young and Valencia are working so well at Man U

    I'm not sure I agree with some of the posters that we were the better team. Swansea were better in the first half we were better second half.

    To be fair they threw the kitchen sink at Arsenal and deserved something out of the game. I think theres three worse sides. Burnley, Leicester and Palace. QPR play palace next so if they win that theres quite a gap opening up.

    Yes me too, he had a poor game today. Don't know whether to blame him for the header Fabianski saved but really from that far out he should bury it.

    Was it? It was nowhere near the corner; if Guzan has stayed in his original position he'd have been able to just stick out a paw and block it. Poor goalkeeping for me that one. It was poor goalkeeping and not the first mistake Guzan has made lately, however Okore was equally to blame for giving away the free kick in the first place.

    Don't understand what Benteke was moanin about with the grealish cross. There was nothing else Grealish could have done and if Benteke or someone else had bothered making a run to the near post we might have scored.

    Hard to choose managers tactics, because first half they were crap, second half good. I thought we were truly awful first half but second half we were very good and unlucky to get nothing out of the game.

    Yes hate the formation. Hutton is always out of position. We just look crap. We need some support for Benteke. Lets take one of the cbs off at ht and bring Weimann on.
