Agree with Dion. We need men. The only players who have impressed consistently this season have been the kids like Albrighton. Downing does nothing when the pressure is on. Let's see what you've **** got Villa! Who is going to stand up against the storm? Stan? Nige? Emile? Massive game.

It's very interesting how the young players all seem to like him so much and the older ones are a lot more sceptical. What's for sure, he isn't fannying around trying to bring people round to his way of thinking. He already knows who he likes and who he wants to be a part of the team in the future. It's either going to be brilliant, or disastrous. What's sort of good in a very twisted way, is that there is no way he can tear the heart out of the team because we haven't had one at all since he came in. There was so much going on following the Milner sale, the team was incredibly disjointed and I think anyone coming in at that time would have struggled. He's building some sort of creation but will it be a beauty or a beast? Back him.

The first comment was funnier Delf was poor, made to look worse by how well Gab played in the second half, and the fact the team was getting nervous.

:shock: are you for real ? Maybe a touch harsh but he was very poor. So obvious Gab has gone off, I didn't honestly think he was tiring all that much? Houllier prob beign proactive in pulling him off before he started lagging, fair play for it. But Fonz was not good at all, and made a right **** up of the one chance we had at 2-2, Lichaj burning down the outside ready to cross for Young and he delayed delayed....d e l a y e d, then gave him a stinker. Then stood around for a bit before deciding to get back and help.

That's what we can do with Gabby in the side. We got started crapping ourselves at 2-0 as soon as they got around our area. Albrighton just fantastic. Bannan is now free of any nerves whatsoever and looks a really positive attacking player. Hogg did a "Sidwell". If we can get that defence sorted I really like what we've got.
