Test reply. Interesting. Works fine in incognito mode, something you've noticed already then? Anything I can change at this end so it works in normal Chrome? Ooo, like the way that if you post twice and no one gets in before you it merges posts, very swish.

    General Issues

I'm running Chrome on Windows 7 and the black "Post" button doesn't work for me. Once, I've typed my message, I have to go thorough "More reply options", then post. When I roll over the quick post button the cursor changes to a hand so seems to know it's an action button, but pressing the mouse does nothing. Anyone else?
  3. Glad to see Bent on the bench. Not playing well enough to warrant a place in the team. Benteke looking a bit off but even his bad touches mean he is invovled in the game, our Darren doesn't bother to get involved. Lambert is not doing it out of spite, I imagine he enjoys winning too much to bother with that nonsense.
  4. Great looking thing! Couple of issues early in the change when I couldn't log on at all, then the "profile" page kept locking me out, greying everything out. All sorted now though, bravo to the change.
  5. Being crap at sports. I'm fairly fit and all right at most sports, and if I play them a lot I tend to improve to a level known amongst friends as "decent". Can't get squash at all. Played a lad who isn't fit but has played squash for years for the last few weeks and he beat me six games in a row, in two games I scored 0. He was pitying me the last time we played offering to replay points, no bugger off, I'll take the 0 thank you. Playing again next week and I'm determined to beat him in a match.
  6. He's actually at Holly Valance's wedding would you believe?
  7. KEA is very important to us and the way we're trying to play, always wants the ball. He never hid despite not having a great game, he was OK. Bennett wasn't outstanding, he again was OK. Needs to get down the outside of people a bit more, and confused himself a few times in tight spots fannying around with the ball. Decent home debut though, good toe on the ball with Lukaku. Delph was decent, nice to see him with some confidence running forwards on the ball. Lost it in dangerous areas, but I think that'll come with more matches. Great to have some midfielders who want the ball, far too often it's only been Ireland. If Bent had started not a chance we'd have been that dominant in the first half. He doesn't make any runs down the line or for the other forward, he doesn't win any headers, he doesn't close anyone down. He doesn't do enough. Well done to him for scoring the first bobbling ball around the area from a corner of the match, but he bloody better do because he does **** all else. Get the feeling if we lost 2-1, he'd be happy as he scored. No problem with starting him on the bench. Gabbo and Holman good. Albrighton had the best 45 mins he's had for 18 months in the first half. Brilliant. Then very poor along with everyone else in the second. Bit annoying from corners today actually, what's all this floaty bollocks? Get some whip on it. We connected with a lot of our corners but because of the style of delivery it was difficult to get any pace on it and direct it towards goal, they all just lofted over. Long was immense for them, if he'd have stayed on they'd have won, which would have been the smashiest of smash and grabs.
  8. Pissed me off massively he didn't play twice the first day. He's a specialist and steps up in volatile atmospheres, it'd be 9-7 if he had. Colsearts so so unlucky today to be fair to him, three putts wiping their feet before hopping back out, and that one that skipped over the hole. We need to go out strong and I predict it'll be Poults and Rory first two out. Thing is, they can keep the guys who have been flying like Mickelson, Bradley, Bubba and Simpson for the end when our weaker players are heading out. Not a chance of us winning it, guessing 17.5 - 10.5, Poults to beat Furyk 3&2 first out.
  9. So glad I can appreciate Ireland as a footballer, must look such a different sport to some people.
  10. Should have started ahead of Bent against Soton, needs to start against Albion in his place to give us a chance. Paul, take me on board as a coach before I'm snapped up.
  11. The whole premise was Sauron assumed they were going to try and use the ring rather than destroy it. So firstly flying directly to Mount Doom would have a) made Sauron realise his folly and they would have been taken out by Nazgul fellbeasts or Mordor archers, take your pic. Anyway, despite my annoyance at the Hobbit being in 3 films, I do really want to see it. Looks good. Why didn't that one get nailed in the first film when flying and saving Gandalf from the top of that big **** off tower?
  12. This guy at work often tells stories which end with, "and I kicked his effing head in!" and I just think , there's no need. I bet you didn't, you're far too fat, and there's no need. If he doesn't get his way as well, he likes to end meetings with I'll kick your head in, or I'll kick their head in, my word it's annoying. I just smile and say you couldn't catch me if you tried.
  13. Good player, don't think the value was quite there at £15m to be honest.
  14. I'd start Gab against Soton in place of Bent, and alongside Bentekkers. The man is made to play away from home, causes all manner of problems, and if we need a goal, Bent will cause them more worry than Gab coming on. We're likely to have to do a bit of defending against them hunting their first points, Gab and Benteke will help us hold it in their half much better than Bent.
  15. Maybe, only you know the real answer. You're definitely wrong though. Wonder what Lambert is trying to do for us as a club that Messi couldn't bring! I think he'd consider a swap deal if Barca swooped with an exchange offer.
  16. Away from home next week in a really winnable game. I would def start Gabby and Benteke. Bent can come on if we need a goal at the end, but still offered very little yesterday.

    Liverpool

Why is this in this thread? He's not a bad player, was going to get goals. £15m though? Owrgh.
  18. There is nothing quite as exciting as a new striker, especially after a cameo like that. Great stuff, looked like he wanted to hang onto the ball, had a bit of fight when defenders got physical. Can't see too many getting the better of him if they're up for a scrap.
  19. His touch is horrible However, he puts it in. Could be like Jonas at Newcastle for us, he's got a ratty touch as well.
  20. Couldn't afford to pay him after Hansen. The production team on MOTD were asked if they wanted Hansen to carry on this season. Every single one said no. Rude, ignorant, and not a good pundit. Bigwigs see him as a fixture, but I think this will be his last season because he's so unpopular there.
  21. Justice? Which would be what in this circumstance? A name? A clearance of Liverpool fans' name?
  22. I think Gabbo will be back in. We've missed him. Wiemann is a trier. Tommy Johnson for the new age. I really really used to enjoy watching Super Tom though.
  23. Who do you know that feels that way? I live in Manchester and know about 25+ City fans through work, they all absolutely love it. City's PR department is amongst the busiest in the league (admittedly probably due to the huge budget they've got) and most fans feel closer to the club than ever before. They do so many fan events away from match days, and the community team is always running bits in town and at local schools. Yes it may be hollow, fluffy stuff, but the amount of content you see which involves their players makes people feel closer to them by just seeing them chatting like normal people to camera. Football isn't what it was, you need money to seriously shift your status; and spending it as well as City have off the pitch really helps the fans along the way.
