Holes all through Skyfall which made it feel a bit raw to me. It seemed to be missing a clever little reveal which linked a few points together. SPOILERS: - The gamekeeper in Bond's house has been there for 30+ years alone. Right, I'll believe that, but he didn't know what Bond did for a living (said it in the shotgun scene, and kept calling M 'Emma') so wouldn't have been a tad more inquisitive about why there were hoards of men coming to kill them all? Seemed to accept it rather easily. - Why did the bad dude pause and look at Bond's parents' gravestones? I was thinking there was going to be a mad twist like it was Bond's brother or something? - In the outhouse thing where M eventually gave it up, why did the bad guy give the little speech about it being "perfect"? Why was it perfect? Because it was an old church? Again, I thought this was leading to a big reveal. - What the hell was that weird gay scene about, unbuttoning Bond's shirt? Very strange to throw that in. If they want to go all realism and dark, then they become open to criticisms like this I'm afraid. Loved the funnier cheesy bits like the Aston, everything Q did and the random sex. Decent film, not the best Bond ever.

Bent would have missed Benteke's goal v Norwich, and his winner last night. No way he'd have been able to control the ball, he's got the touch of a brick wall.

Oooor he doesn't fit in our team at the moment as he doesn't do enough work. He's our best striker at getting into positions for finishes; but our worst at running the channels, heading, controlling the ball with his feet and general hold up play. It'd be close between between him and Benteke for who is the slowest actually. He's rightfully on the bench.

Don't get this. What do you want to see when you watch us? Passing? Shots on goal? Pressing the opposition? It's been there in dribs and drabs and we've played some great football. Unfortunately it's been amongst a lot of rubbish, but last season rubbish was all we got.

Yesterday was the first time this season I think we've looked awful throughout though. Southampton and WBA had hairy spells, but in all those there was some nice football played, yesterday was gash. I'm concerned but I want the fans to stay onside and support our inexperienced team. It'll take a lot, but I think we can stay up.

Really like Lambert, and I agree with every decision he's made bar a few tactical subs. Bent rightly out of the side still, that takes real balls because he's a big star. Yes he has his use, but we're not good enough to be giving him the many chances he needs to be effective as a starter. Can't shake this swampy cold. Had it for a week, it died a bit, then came back packin' heat. Also, when people don't believe me I used to never need to blow my nose before I went to uni. I've had a very very slight cold for about 6 years now. Most annoying.

Make no mistake about it, if we were losing every week but playing poorly, I'd be just as worried as the panicky amongst you all, but the performances have been so encouraging I can't believe people are questioning Lambert. Honestly, it's mental. Did you see us last season? Have you seen us this? The difference is so big it's ridiculous. The only thing, ONLY thing that looks a little concerning is the strengthening others have done. Last season, we were horrible, but luckily we got early points and managed to keep out head above the slowly improving dross. This year, only Norwich looks especially poor. QPR have too many good players to be this bad all year, Reading have a bit of fight and if not the players, the team ethic to win games, and Southampton can score at the right end no problem. Overall, happy. Yeah, we could be higher, but I'd rather be playing as we are with 5 points, than have 7 having ratted it against WBA but played shite in every game so far.

5 is a small number

It's the Sky Sports News disease. People who don't understand football try to make sense of it using the numbers rotated round all day on a 35 minute loop. Poor form. See! Not a scoob.

I had done all that and cleared out the cache, and nothing happened when I restarted the browser. However this morning after a full computer restart all is well, how lovely yet unexplainable.

Still cannot post normally in Chrome on Windows 7 unless in incognito mode. Need to go thorugh 'More reply options' then 'Add reply'. Fiddled around and eventually just deleted all my extensions except Adblocker (from which Villatalk is exempt anyway) and avast! WebRep, but still the same results, of the 'Post' button just doing nothing. Any idea on anything at all I could change?

Quality footballer. Vital to us, and has adjusted a season and a half quicker than Petrov luckily. Him and Ireland will be excellent if they can get a run of games together.

We aren't ever going to win the league again. We are very unlikely to win a cup for at least 3 years. I want to enjoy watching us, and I am at the minute, quite exciting I think. Ireland will only improve us when he's back.

Very appropriately named is our Charlie. Could add to our front line. Not sure he deserves a crack at the top just yet, needs to clean up his act.

Loving what Lambert has done so far. We've played some great stuff and have a fresh look about our team. We will improve as the season goes on and strengthen again in January. Bent being on the bench is because we're working harder as a team from the front and he doesn't do that. We're not good enough at the moment to be providing him with the 4 chances he needs to get a goal, so bench it is. I think it'll shock him into putting it in to be honest, and I think that's another bonus of dropping him twice in a row.
