He's doing himself nothing but damage at the moment. He won't turn down three years of compensation though, and why should he! He'll be having a break of at least a year from PL football when he does leave, no one will touch him.

Whiplash is great. Really good. I just think it stuttered to an end sadly. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't the cowboys/dynamite farce at the end of Django overrun, more of four minutes added time at the end of Aston Villa 0-0 Sunderland.

Be interested to see us against Bournemouth. Liverpool beat them by playing on the counter and still could've conceded a few. Will Lambert change his philosophy of playing all the players (except the two who can't cross) in the middle?

If we stayed up there'd be an odd sense of pride in it agreed. Like a circus that moves from town to town doing a couple of sell out shows, then moving on before word spreads how terrible it is.

"Lamebert" is excellent, not seen that before I'll make sure to put it in all my posts so I can annoy the narcissists. He's so terrible, he's taking attention away from the chairman who is the real one holding us back. Real shame that he's leading our club.

We looked good when he wasn't on the pitch. He's a decent enough player but no needed IMO if Gill is going to play as an am. He wasn't great today, but he's not crap? Like I said, if anyone thinks he's rubbish, there is just no hope for them ever understanding football

Plenty of ability, rusty today. If he goes this January, we definitely drop.

He's had much worse games for us than today. He rolled his man a few times and won corners, ran around a bit and caused a bit of trouble. Still crap like, but better than Benteke for example today.

I like that he can control and dribble the ball. We managed to drill it out of Bertrand after three or four games, I hope he lasts longer, we need him to!

Lambert isn't going anywhere. And he will take us down, no doubt Asking a full back as technically inept as Cissokho to play in the manner he does, is obscene. For around eight matches now, Benteke has drifted off to the back post, crosses continue to fizz in near, or aimed near, does he not watch the game? We are done.

There is no hope for people who think Westwood isn't any good. None.

My mate has Preston season ticket and was gutted. Their best forward Joel Garner is out for months still as well. If he does get a sniff now and scores, Lambert will probably get credit for bringing him back at just the right time and "giving him his chance"

No they don't. They do against Barcelona and Real Madrid. Wouldn't you? They don't all the time. They won the ball off Real really high up the pitch loads tonight. A joy to watch, and a team for fans to be proud of.

In desperate desperate times, these often cheer me up, but seeing us third favourite knowing we're getting max three points in the next three matches, God knows what it'll look like then.

Have you seen him play? Edit: sorry that sounded like I was being facetious. I'm not, it was a genuine question Not once. Merely an educated guess. He hasn't played much this season, and he's a foreign number 10 who is very small. Plus his first three matches are against three good sides. Be wonderful if he flies from the off.

I think he'll struggle hugely early on. At least Sanchez had the physicality to help him out when he first arrived. May not see the best of him till next year. Fingers crossed we're still in the league. Looking forward to his debut regardless of all of this!
