I'm inclined to agree with you but as we've seen, it can lead to a lack of width, relying on bloomin' Aly & Alan to cross it so much. Maybe a 4-2-3-1, but we still need another wide man I think. Against Arsenal I'd play Gil RW and put Westwood, Sanchez & Delph central.

If we play 4-4-2 he must start ahead of Cleverley. In fact, there is no scenario or team selection where Cleverley should be in ahead of him, Westwood is the better player by a country mile. In a 4-3-3, he may struggle to get in the side a bit more but I wouldn't be too keen to dive in a say Gil should start all the time there, he's a very attacking player and might not suit playing centre mid, he was much brighter wide today. And of course, we've then got the conundrum of who to play on the wings if Gil does play centrally because Weimann/Gabby/Bacuna have all been poor there this year.

For Heaven's sake, what a goal! Very wriggly player, looks like he could take it round you in a phonebox. Needs to watch himself carrying it round in dangerous areas. Great he's keen to get on the ball, but could lead to trouble if he does it too much.

This story is not for those tucking into their tea, but to wander backwards into poo slightly... In Newquay a few years ago me and a some mates were in the midst of a rack of tequila test tubes in a very horrible club. James and I were overcome with the urge to rid our bodies of this vile fluid and headed for the bathrooms. I entered the only cubicle to spew and the toilet was honestly full, to the brim, with feces. It must have been blocked earlier in the night and about 15 others must have then gone on top of the blockage. Incredible. I managed to stagger backwards and hold it all in but James didn't. He vommed all over it and got sick and shit all over himself. The image of him stepping out of the cubicle covered in that much mess always makes me laugh. I didn't even think many people went to the toilet in clubs! Certainly not on top of others' leavings. No toilet roll in sight, no seat, certainly no lock on the door. Urgh. Never had tequila since.

I was talking to Derby fan at work the other day, asking her about the record-breaking stats of that season, and I think she said they conceded 180 goals, or something like that.
