  1. I'd like Big Sam. I think he'd come to us as well. He's out of contract in the summer. We would promoted out of the Championship first time with him. His football is ten times better than anything Lambert has given us before the tears about long ball start.
  2. When Culverhouse was here, he did ALL the training. He's always done it for Lambert. Since he's gone, Lambert/Keane have taken it and it's Sunday league stuff. International footballers playing 5 a side every day. No wonder we look tactically short.
  3. Trust me, Curbishley is not the man for us. He's not well in the head.
  4. Can someone tell me who Hairyhands was please?
  5. I think he'll get sacked when we lose at home to WBA.

Intent being coached out of him by Lambert I see. As predicted.
  7. We're down. Too late. Said it before Hull. Gutted.
  8. Imagine if he comes back and cracks in the goals to save us! That would be nice. I will say though, he never impressed me with his general play at all when fit. I think it was Hull at home he played and looked like was carrying a bag of sand on his back. I think it'll the new season till he is any use to us. Looked to have a knack for getting goals though which is lovely. If he carries that on, he doesn't need to run that much.
  9. Bench again for me. Although, if we get as many crosses in when he's on the pitch he may have a better chance of scoring. His build up play has been hideous of late.
  10. Really interesting option. I'd be tempted to bring him in for Okore, but I don't think I would. If we're clinging on to a lead, or more like, a 0-0 , him coming on as an extra defender should hopefully shore things up.
  11. Three CB's not a good idea unless Baker is fit, it leaves us with no centre half options on the bench should injuries happen. I don't think it's a good idea anyway but it would match us up with Hull who have been playing 3-5-2/3-5-1-1 recently.
  12. Swansea not beating Sunderland cost me £250
  13. If Tom Cleverley were a biscuit, he'd be half a digestive.
  14. Buck up your ideas Gab. Get out on that pitch and fcuking stick it up John Terry will you! Near post, low scruffy header in a 1-0 win thanks. Lovely.
  15. Settles me reading these but I do I think we're going this year sadly. We're too bad. Showing my lack of stats understanding here...how can 16th be max likelihood when its has 17.3% and 17th has 18.4%?
  16. Good stat! I was working at Old Trafford probably just before that 57 hour count began. Cleverley bombed a phenomenal cross as Utd completed a 3-2 comeback v Braga. I think it remains the most impressive thing he has done in football.
  17. He did to be fair to him. but he was massivley helped by having a decent squad to take over and a certain Gareth Bale exploding onto the scene and carrying the team. And, despite Redknapp's claims, he wasn't responsible for Bale's talent (he wanted to loan him out to Forest). So yes, his tactic of stick 11 players on the pitch and let them do what they want worked at Spurs, because he had good players and a chairman/director of football who added to the squad effectively (by all accounts Harry didn't have much control over who signed, see the Van Der Vaart signing) Unfortunately, at a team struggling in the league that doesn't really cut it anymore. His inability to set a team up away from home has always been there, but it's hit a monumental low this season and will probably be the reason QPR go down. He claimed, and was given credit for, moving Bale to LW when he'd been playing there incredibly well for Wales under Toshack for over a year. Arse.

PDC has plenty of lovely chaps. I enjoy watching it more as the players are so much better, BDO can only dream of PDC standard these days. Should darts fans not drink or shout? BDO's attempts to recreate the PDC atmosphere is horrible, they should contrate on making their tournaments however they want, not copy and fail horribly. They are nothing alike. BDO fans being real darts fans there for the sport and are quiet and respectful to the players when they throw. Complete opposites to the PDC fans. I mean the tournaments and setup as opposed to the fans themselves. They've copied the livelier, flashier entrances and tried to generate more noise before the match and get players "high-fiving" fans. It all looks false and awkward. BDO is fine, the ground-level true darts where pretty much all players start, they should celebrate that, not try and make it look and feel like the PDC.

So fast paced. Couldn't specifically tell you why I enjoy it so much, sporting theatre!
  20. Should've been dropped weeks ago, but if he does stay in the side I'll put it down to the ineptitude of our manager rather than speculating over a clause.
