  1. He's shown he's a better footballer than Weimann in my opinion. He's got into dangerous areas and played crosses in only to have Benteke standing outside the area. I think he'll play in the closing stages of the season.
  2. I think his reputation has been enhanced by Sky Sports News and Twitter existing. This 59% going round and round and round. Just a thought. Said before he came he'd probably keep us up, bit of a throwaway as I thought we'd go for someone else. Fingers crossed! I'm with you Tim, you big boob!
  3. If we go down yes. Grealish the only one ready for the Prem right now.
  4. Big fat man. Don't agree with some of Lambert's decisions but getting rid of a striker who can't move was a good one.
  5. Big gamble by Fox this. He will look like a tit if Sherwood absolutely bombs and we send him on his way with £2m plus in his back pocket. Slightly concerned he'll have been won over with Sherwood talking miles above his station.
  6. I'm also excited by it! Along with the entire playing staff, I'd accepted relegation. Now we've got a chance. He will not be interested in getting relegated without a tremendous **** fight. He's in the spotlight here having turned his nose up at a fair few jobs. Going down, despite it being the previous manager's fault more than his will reflect poorly on him. I'm up for this, come on Tim!
  7. Come on then Christian. Show us your balls.
  8. I think he'll get along well initially with Sherwood. Performances will improve and he'll get us yet more important goals. They'll fall out once Gabby settles down out of new manager mode again and he'll be frozen out. Obviously not a chance we'll never sell him on 50k a week so he won't play again until Sherwood leaves.
  9. Sherwood tells journalists everything that's going on in his sad life. If the papers say he's in talks, he's in talks
  10. I think he'd walk here to manage us. He thinks he's on the way to the top and we're a level up from Bolton, even if we got relegated.
  11. I like Warnock. Seems an alright bloke. For Heaven's sake, don't give me him as our manager though.
  12. I really don't think he would keep us up. It's certainly up for debate. Our personnel are better than our league position and initially, I think they'd react well to his arrogance because he'd just tell them they should be winning more. He is a coach as well, so hopefully they'd get some clear instructions on what he wants them to do. I hate him, I don't want him, he's an arrogant, egotistical fool. I do think he'd keep us up though.
  13. Sherwood would keep us up. But he's a weapon and we'd be down at the bottom next season as well.

I think i am going Talinn for my stag hopefully its good out there tony i know its your mates but tht was funny how do you walk past the same police station!! get a taxi to your hotel for goodness sake! I went April last year, and whether that's "off-season" I couldn't tell you but I wouldn't say it was ideal for a stag. Fantastic place, great parts to visit and things to do with your partner for a week or something, but just a bit quiet for a stag.
  15. It felt like that to be honest. We were horrific week after week and he would come out and go "great, we were great there". Doubt it's true though.
  16. I don't like seeing Nigel Adkins in the betting. That would be our Brian Laws appointment.
  17. Then in the very next thread. about one of our players. Pot. Kettle.
  18. I don't think anyone actually knew. I certainly didn't. If people did, they kept it to themselves. But now he's gone so it can start as an internet leak.
  19. Come on now, who was Hairyhands then?
  20. Very likely we're going regardless. That will put Sherwood off to be fair.
  21. Sherwood is a helmet. But he'd be comfortably better than Lambert.
  22. Now, Tim Sherwood is clearly a big penis. BUT, he's so damn cocksure of himself, I think he would motivate our side quite well and probably keep us up. I'm not a fan though, and I think it would turn bitter at some point - probably early next season. Seeing how he's turned down QPR for money reasons and I remember him refusing the Spurs job unless he got an 18 month deal, there's no way he'd come here til just the end of the season. Definite no to: Hoddle, Southgate, Laudrup, Klinsmann. Wouldn't mind Warburton, Lennon (arse of a man, but he'd be our arse) or Dyche. I do think though from all mentioned so far, Sherwood would be our best chance of survival, despite the grim prospects going forwards. Prandelli wouldn't come here, we're a risk for any foreign coach because they probably CBA with fighting to get out of the Championship. Would be a fan of any from Paco, Yakin, Garde, Galtier could we persuade them. I actually think, because of the money in this league, we could be quite an attractive proposition, should they trust themselves to save us.
  23. I wish I could turn it off. It hurts too much. Stuck with it sadly. **** it. Bring on the Championship. Bring on Sheffield Wednesday away. Bring on most sides coming to Villa Park and parking the bus hoping desperately to leave with a 0-0. I can't wait to be in the away end going nuts as we nick a last minute equaliser to take a point home from Ashton Gate.
