He's OK defensively. OK. Full backs these days get so much of the ball, they just have to provide something going forward. On the ball, he's like a keeper on one of those old Pro Evo games. Cumbersome.

If I was him I'd walk and possibly sue the club for coercing me into taking a job, then abandoing plan to change working conditions. I don't think some realise how bad this is. The money in the top flight, which we will not have access to, is going to change football. The likes of Bournemouth, Watford, Norwich, Swansea, whoever else stay up, will be able to take our players whenever they please unless we get back very quickly.

If Gubby and Gistede are our front line, I think we'll score more than we have this year, but I don't want to see us wellying to the ball all season. I'd prefer Gob and Ayew.

I disagree. Even with a decent forward, there's no way it's 50/50. It'd be about that if we were level on points with Sunderland/Swansea, we're miles off. I'll go with 20% with a new forward, 1 in 20 without #numberwang
