We've been so shit for the last five years, it's just broken many fans I'd rather have a good manager who isn't likely to upset the entirety of the playing staff as soon as they walk through the door. Do you think players live on another planet? Can't imagine the few good ones we have will be desperate to play for this madman. He may do a good job to be fair to him, I think being criticised so heavily will have him taking a backward step some of the time now. But he certainly wouldn't be my first choice.

Yes I am aware there is a division between. I don't think a manager getting promoted from League One qualifies him for the Villa job. I don't think a manager losing in the playoffs with the best team in the league qualifies him for the Villa job. He's going to get the Villa job because another manager is winning the league, it's remarkable.

If Leicester had tanked this season. Or not even tanked, just not been the outsider to take advantage of the worst season ever for the top sides, Pearson wouldn't be in the conversation - it's crazy. He's sat at home and watch his stock get higher and higher contributing nothing to their season. It makes me sad thinking how we could've got on if we'd done the sensible thing and sacked Tim at the same time.
