This team is good enough for top 6. I know he's new, as are many of the players, but anything lower will be underwhelming IMO.

I've got to say I'm not really a fan. I actually think a old school poacher would bag a load for us at the moment if we can get Ayew to pass the ball. We'd get Rhodes for £10-15m definitely, he'd be a a better fit for our team, and has a better Championship record than Kodjia.

Interesting. Only spoke to Ravel's mate yesterday and he said he'd started preseason with Lazio and Villa move seemed to be off. He's no one official, just his mate who told me Morrison really wanted to join Villa/come to England.

If you google Naranjojoajo only Newcastle links come up. As a young Spainiard, Rafa will be a big draw for him I'd imagine.

Probably never as good as Vardy last season no, but I'd be surprised if Vardy ever has as season like that again. Agbonlahor has yet to play a season of football outside of the Premier League, Vardy has two in it. He was perfect for us in MON's 4-3-3, a real threat who worried every team he ever played against. Not as good as two of our best ever players? Criminal. It's time for Gabby to go, but for a time, he was well worth a place in any Premier League squad.

On a crusty old grapevine, I've heard that Morrison wants to come back to Birmingham desperately and get away from Rome. Can't get used to the lifestyle out there and he loved his time here. He's spoken to Villa, but not a clue if any offer has been made. I'd guess Di Matteo is the one pushing it, maybe he still knows people at Lazio? Everyone knows the positives and negatives, if you can get him playing, he'll be a star. There's some really shite info for you

He was on the bench for a Sunday league team I was playing against in Manchester about 18 months ago. Looked hungover and tired. Never came on in the end, must've been intimidated by my dominant midfield performance.
