  1. The point stands on Westwood. Jed needs to step up and perform like this leader he was at Palace. I don't want most touches a game, I want willingness to have it under pressure, to relieve someone else in a worse spot. Funnily enough Westwood offering himself, then losing the ball horribly allows Jedinak to see even less of the ball.
  2. I'll be honest, I like that he still shows for the ball. Despite knowing he's playing badly, and getting cheered coming off all the time, he doesn't hide. Hide like Jedinak has been, running away and hiding behind opposition players. Needs a break from the side, but we had no midfielders despite spending fifty **** million pounds.
  3. Not for me. What more could he do? Using advice given to him from FOOTBALL PEOPLE ™ he appointed a former UCL winner and gave him more money than any manager in this league has ever had. It went wrong, and he's binned him off.
  4. Wouldn't argue with Bruce. It almost has to be him if we want security. But I also would love for us to have a look at Murat Yakin. Didn't realise he was free at the moment.
  5. Don't like Hughton or Smith. Smith has a great team in the background running everything at the club, he's just a coach basically. Rowett I do like, but I'm not sure it'd work from the off, and that's what we need. Bruce would leap at the chance to manage us I think. He'd probably get us up at least by the end of next season but that's a minimum requirement really. I wonder if Gary Neville would click here? A side outside the PL could mean he is under a slightly smaller microscope. His demeanour and TV work will have the dressing room eating out of his hand from the off. Gamble though. I'd like to keep Clarke around to be honest as a coach who has been reportedly excellent everywhere he's been.
  6. Bruce won't have Phelen available you wouldn't think if he was to come in. I think he'd keep Clarke to be honest.
  7. Tish will save him for the time being. Looks a great buy if he can stay fit. Great recommendation from Clarke.
  8. You can see he hasn't been here long. He looks so positive.
  9. I see no leader. I see a man hiding from the ball. Running away. Similar to the 'leader' Reo-Coker.
  10. Adomah for Gestede did it. Clueless man who I have no interest in.
  11. This will get ugly very quickly if we take a humping.
  12. Magnificent footballer. He's a good gauge to use actually. If someone thinks he's poor because he got outsprinted by Ozil once, I don't have to waste my time having a proper football chat with them Got over 50 England caps, and that should be at least 75. He was incredible for us left mid when Sven was leaving him out of every England squad to put Scholes there and constantly watch the Gerrard/Lampard mess get us nowhere.
  13. The ref may have. Enckleman didn't, and his reaction told the ref to give a goal.
  14. Where has Adomah been? Bearing in mind the rest of the team look absolutely gassed at 70 mins, how unfit was he?!
  15. There's nothing worse than watching your team be soft and get bullied out of games. Mick McCarthy will be telling his team that's exactly how to beat us and I'd really enjoy it if we could show some backbone for once. Our team is very very good, personnel wise, for the Championship. I don't want draws and losses to become the norm this year. **** off. Not again.
  16. I'm confident we can if the team is coached properly and can be disciplined. Attack and a team, defend as a unit. Jedinak + Westwood/Tish behind McCormack should be enough to get us right us the table with Adomah/Grealish/Ayew wide.
  17. I'd be perfectly happy to build the whole side around this guy as a number 10 off the Codge. If we do that effectively, I can't see us not getting top 6.
  18. When do we change this to "relegation"?
  19. Made it to HT, just about! Rudy showing he shouldn't be starting. Doesn't give enough.
  20. Agreed. Early days, but decisions have to be made. Don't just ram players in where they don't fit.
  21. On a night Villa kick-off at home needing a win against Brentford, Marc Albrighton has opened the scoring in the Champions League. Remarkable.
