  1. We've been outplayed multiple times by teams passing it this season. Our downfall is no instruction from the manager. There is no plan. We have no style. Bruce has lucked out getting this job, and funds to buy (and pay) expensive players. I hope they can get us up.
  2. Bruce has no plan. Never did. We've missed out by not getting a coach who plays football with some faint idea of what he wants. We'd have walked automatic. What a chance missed to gut the club and rebuild, we could be paying for this for years. Got a sniff in the playoffs. I'd fancy us more in a one off final than in the two-legger to get us there though. Bruce must go, up or not.
  3. No excuses tomorrow. Bolton 1 win in 8 and that was Sunderland. Back on track please.
  4. They've got Filipe Morais available in the right whose delivery is usually pretty spot on. If we'd stayed quiet, they'd be guessing what formation we'd even go for at the moment bearing in mind we went 3-5-2 second half v QPR.
  5. Not sure we should be announcing that.
  6. If he doesn't score, he does nothing. It's been tough to drop Hourihane because of those goals, so that's a credit to him. But all this defensive work he does is routine for me, not something others can't do. Lansbury deserves a go. We're totally reliant on Grealish. If he fires, we've got a good chance of winning. If he doesn't, we're probably not scoring.
  7. They look possessed. Desire. Or motivation?
  8. If that happens they deserve to go up, can't complain. If we play to our fullest, with a proper system, we'll beat them.
  9. I've only just read the Leeds owner's comments. They're good stuff and have amused me. Worth us bearing in mind should we not go up. He's making the EFL say it's OK or not. If it is, he's saying "I'm going to do the same next year", of not they'll be under pressure to do something more serious than a monetary fine for Wolves.
  10. Get away with it in that I think he'll be back on TV next MNF. I don't think he should be paid by Sky any more. I don't think he should be on TV anymore. It's a real scum move. I've not seen proof that he was provoked 3 or 4 times either, he's just said he was. Probably to cover his quick actions of launching a big gob at another moving vehicle. Who even thinks of doing it? Makes my skin crawl. Rules are different for current footballers you know that. They're assets. They get away with worse than this sort of muck!
  11. You getting the Witton train back to New Street? A cab will definitely get you there. The train will as long as you can beat the crowds May be worth leaving on 89/90 mins to get the first train, but then you'll never be a true fan Sometimes when you're on them, they seem to sit there for ages but they just let them fill right up before setting off. Thinking about it you know, might be worth double checking the normal post-match trains are running as it's a Friday night.
  12. He's going to get away with it. Remarkable. If a player spat tonight in that game, especially a foreign one, he's just the sort of old school duffer pundit who would slaughter him as though it's the worse thing you can do to another human.
  13. Almost worryingly, I think he can get to Champions League level very soon. Jack's had 90% of the technique and understanding for the last few seasons already. He's slowly getting better at everything else in the mean time. He'd be more of a true 10 for a lot of teams but you look at the way Pep plays Silva and De Bruyne centre mid, he'd suit that position down to the ground
  14. I agree, your post didn't make sense. It seemed to indicate Villa fans being unhappy Villa won. Great goal by Thor this weekend.
  15. That comment was verbatim good natured mockery of a post you'd made elsewhere I can't be arsed to look up. Not nice to read back is it? Wonder what was up with you. It was probably something like "Some people gutted we won again" after criticism of Bruce. --- Birkir didn't deserve to lose his place. But Bruce was right to bring Jed back in against Blues when he did, he also shone against Wolves. I'd go with Birkir starting against weaker/less physical sides.
  16. Disagree. I'd say the opposite! At times he looked like he couldn't even stand up, but always worked hard. Been really good 90% of the time since that Forest cameo though. Maybe finally settled down?
  17. Can't stand football fans being so stats obsessed now. It's crept into coverage more and more the last three seasons.
  18. Agreed, he's good. Off to the World Cup with BBC.
  19. One of a couple of odd players we've got. Solider than solid defensively, but can't really play football unless it's with his head. Very useful for playing tougher games, but should make way against weaker opposition. Very good tonight.
  20. Very few people do. He's already a fantastic footballer who could play for a top 6 team. Can't get over how good he is.
  21. Toe bunt from hell. Should come in for Jed against weaker opposition.
  22. Poor again. Should've been replaced earlier.
  23. Great moment when he waltzed passed Neves first half. Tied him up. He didn't look like a champions league player then!
