Trains really well organised from both ends I thought. Bit of a wait both ends as well, but what can you do when you've got that many people and x number of trains. Trip down from Moor Street on the 9.15 a dream.

If we signed Mitrovic in January we would have fallen short all the same. And you'd have found a different thing that we were lacking. The manager this season has cost us. He's done. And worryingly, could even be staying for next year.

Wolves showed a well drilled 352/343 can work wonders, I think it helps not many teams play it outside the Premier League. Sheff U also did it well this season. As did Paul Cook's Wigan in League 1. I have zero faith in Bruce implementing it well.

He can be an ok player in this league if he quickens up on the ball. Not carrying it, just moving it on in possession. He'salways looked too ponderous for us, but Forest/Barnsley fans have said he looks good at times. We can use him as a squaddie if we pass the ball.

Paul Cook great shout. Wigan play great stuff and he was also excellent at Portsmouth, they were gutted to lose him.

What a boost it would be if he has walked. Save quite a bit of money I'd imagine.

Nah, he's been really poor for the most part. Looked disinterested most of the time which is worse than underperforming. He was good in the final though, took a bit of responsibility on and made quite a few openings.

Yes! The reason is that's what Steve Bruce knows. And it's utter garbage to watch. If it gets results, great. Doesn't make it enjoyable in my eyes, but whatever at least we're winning, I like that. But when we don't get results, like yesterday, like this season, there's no silver lining. Second half we opened up a bit, were more on top I'd say. Why couldn't we do that from the start? Why couldn't we do that this season?! We'd have gone up automatically as we had players than everyone. Steve Bruce has cost us. No one else. Can't even afford to sack him, hopefully he'll walk.

Does nothing if he doesn't score. 11 goals isn't enough for the appearances. So much improvement needed without Jack taking responsibility for him next season.

"They could have played all day and still not scored" When in fact, we're seat of pants and could concede at any moment because we've never got the bleeding ball. Our players are plenty good enough, just setup negativity. He's had his chance with one of the best squads the league has ever seen and failed to get promotion. I don't think he'll do better with the worse one we'll have next year. Time for a change. Hope you give the next guy the support you give Steve! Manager's dream you ?

Standard garbage first half. We've played like that this season, nicked a goal, and people say we've played well. Second better, still overly reliant on Grealish. Bruce doesn't deserve him. That's it. Chance wasted to have a fun year with a real strong squad. All change now. I'd love to see us try to play some football but we're likely to have nowhere near the depth for next year. Still doable for a manager that has some tactics though.

Barring injury Cahill won't start, and Hendo is in competition with Dier for that holding mid role. He'll probably win that battle mind. The only absolute certainties to start are Kane, Sterling and Walker. I like Kane. I like Southgate. I like the 3-5-2 we're trying.

I'm hoping to see Hourihane support Grealish's attacking intent this weekend, but I do think most of his responsibility is going to be defensive. Bruce won't be changing tactic of a lifetime.
